Nowadays there are so many modern hybrids that  Some salespeople may be able to give suggestions if they are familiar with what they are selling.

# t  l, h0 w: s! fThere are many other orchid genera that are as easy as phalaenopsis and  only you move one step further  then you will realize many(not all) of them are actually a lot easier than many other plant families. Of course, interest always  precede a trial.

我查了很多资料了,但没有在ZONE3区能过冬的例子,都是ZONE5-6的,但我又最喜欢HIＢＩＲＤ　ＴＥＡ　ＲＯＳＥ．

Cattleya(including SLC, LC, BC, BLC hybrids),
Phrag.( a South American Lady slippers orchid genus),
% ?8 Y+ W/ P2 H2 G% JOncidium( dancing dolls orchid, you may see them for sale at Homedepot; the spraying yellow flower type is the easiest of this genus),
0 j- J* Z2 F" r# Z/ gDendrobium( common Asian genus).           OR

1 v5 N4 ]7 g2 k& @5 E/ s' UJoin OSA and go to its monthly meeting where you will see a lot more different kind of orchids and meet many experienced hobbyists that are most happy to answer any questions you may have. They hold sales every month too.
