4 Multicultural Summer Camp Program Staff - V, o, W+ ~1 e: W" c
(8 week contract @ 35 hours a week)

Activity Planning and Daily Activity
) H$ D$ ?+ {8 X& ]% w1 R• Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their resilience, relationship building and leadership." K2 e0 J2 \. w5 i
• Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring.
& I _8 ?0 D$ I2 s1 j" S• Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer and volleyball, + N" r# Q7 C! ]9 _4 ~
• Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants.; k/ Q8 H" l% L6 o9 O! y/ Z
• Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time.
6 m: w( `# e& }0 c; v" l• Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal./ O, e4 o" u+ a. E( A8 C k& A
. j1 g, Z% |+ F! U$ GThe successful candidate will have:
" ]% |* ~( R0 H+ s* P# g. i+ |• The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting
C4 m6 P% Q" S t. C0 ^! c0 B% C8 K• Experience with children$ ?1 `' \: _) M. u, C- t- |' {! _
• Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth " [+ h7 Y& {+ @6 H4 D( L+ A4 ]
• Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring.

• Knowledge of children’s activities and community resources
( W& x1 H9 g, L* W( I5 L• Documentation of a clear CYIM (Child & Youth Information Management) check
9 v: u, {+ X( G, d• Documentation of a clear vulnerable sector Security Clearance check ' Q' [$ a1 r/ ^4 p9 s8 K$ ]
