$ [( Y; W. S5 u4 X7 {! U4 E  jBig Brothers Big Sisters of Edmonton and Area provides mentoring programs to more than 2,800 children, youth and families.  We are looking for 4 temporary full time summer staff.

4 Multicultural Summer Camp Program Staff

Key Responsibilities Include:
5 t7 }* [6 O5 ^% c9 Z+ W! @Activity Planning and Daily Activity
•        Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their  resilience, relationship building and leadership.
•        Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring.
•        Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer  and volleyball,
! N4 U6 g+ H& g) B( l. c•        Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants.
•        Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time.
0 J; `- z: R8 h. _+ Y•        Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal.

The successful candidate will have:
•        The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting
8 P% c8 `6 O% i, H6 B$ l3 l; {/ f•        Experience with children
•        Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth
0 P- t3 R# d0 h. e6 X$ I2 ?•        Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring.
•        Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.
5 B- l- |( t1 n6 o. c•        Knowledge of children’s activities and community resources
3 `6 i( F" i! e" ~$ R+ n•        Documentation of a clear CYIM (Child & Youth Information Management) check  
•        Documentation of a  clear vulnerable sector Security Clearance check

In addition to an excellent work environment, The Africa Centre & Big Brothers Big Sisters offer an hourly salary of $15-hour .
