4 Multicultural Summer Camp Program Staff

Key Responsibilities Include:
5 t7 }* [6 O5 ^% c9 Z+ W! @Activity Planning and Daily Activity' |8 V* Q' Z, o2 V
• Assist in planning, organizing and relevant activities for children and youth to explore new avenues including leadership & life skills, recreation, and their cultural community that enhance their resilience, relationship building and leadership.% x2 M5 F C6 i8 p8 H
• Participate in the delivery of all programs in the areas of crafts, sports and tutoring. 3 |& {5 }1 Q9 |9 w
• Participate in and lead sporting activities; know and have the ability to apply game rules for basketball, soccer and volleyball,
! N4 U6 g+ H& g) B( l. c• Provide proper supervision in all activities to ensure the safety of the program participants.0 F4 K/ ]4 e8 N) F' s0 ?/ T* z& @
• Supervise the children and youth at breakfast and lunch time.
0 J; `- z: R8 h. _+ Y• Help to maintain housekeeping standards by ensuring all program facilities are left clean after each activity and each meal.& p" J0 A: O8 s

The successful candidate will have:$ U ]- Q! L0 C5 L- Q0 W6 i" {
• The enthusiasm and ability to work with a variety of ages of youth in a group setting
8 P% c8 `6 O% i, H6 B$ l3 l; {/ f• Experience with children3 y6 h; B) b. e9 q5 R
• Demonstrated knowledge of sporting, activity planning for youth
0 P- t3 R# d0 h. e6 X$ I2 ?• Knowledge the English language and the ability to support math tutoring.6 u: S( R- b5 L8 T( s( S( e, U1 l; |
• Ability to manage time effectively and be results oriented.
