Position Overview This Corporation is a multidiscipline engineering, geomatics and planning consulting firm with offices in major centers throughout Western Canada. We are currently seeking a Transportation Engineer – Intermediate to Senior to join our Calgary team.$ d0 A m' \: \, }" u
Responsibilities In this position, you will:
/ O3 t# w# r6 v1 {) x• Plan and design major road and highway projects; 9 M5 z5 f3 R! ~/ ]$ H" e
• Ensure that you provide exceptional service to clients with roadway functional, preliminary and detailed design services as part of a team;5 I4 k# a) _ c6 c, z- P
• Prepare roadway designs including: plans; reports; cost estimates; and specifications.
0 c+ `5 H* K! k5 T, w, P$ Y8 |/ s• Prepare contract documents and review and evaluate tenders for projects;
1 x7 b( Q# v v3 a• Supervise technicians, technologists and other engineers and review and approve designs, calculations and cost estimates. |
