Housing Program Worker

! J& p% g- A1 w+ M6 u0 b To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
/ \0 \2 Y% |8 c4 H; C7 M To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
 To help promote the program in the community.
 To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
 To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
 To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
4 w- s6 @% j  ]! ]" u To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
6 c- B% E+ {6 l  A1 G To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

Qualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
* y! D' d# c* S; c% m 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
, k2 @2 Q  D  }6 M Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
 Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
* x8 h/ h7 e% J; S( s3 N# T! S# L Current CPR and First Aid certifications
 Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
