Has the following summer position available: June 1 – August 16, 2005 (40 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities:
" ^- d. P# r' ~" Q! X To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
 To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
 To help promote the program in the community.
 To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
 To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
 To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
6 l( z) B! Z. D3 _- Q$ E# f0 r To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
: l- e! a" S1 T3 o/ n3 z, _* ^5 p To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

/ N( I7 t* @" b( a0 y4 x6 _) M5 MQualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
) D; ^! q# u" W Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
- P* j9 o5 \4 t' V9 E! _" l; Z Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
 Current CPR and First Aid certifications
" T* E9 D6 c: c: Y& R) U$ v! G; G& V Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
