Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
Responsibilities:
- Organize focus group(s)
- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program

# x0 z9 H; j5 b7 T- Find sponsors to enhance program
+ o! q% Z8 l& I' t8 Q$ }; X- Supervise volunteer(s)
1 e$ u, q' V9 j7 c) V4 _- Prepare final report for funding agency

Qualifications:
* Y& G3 ]8 _5 N
- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
9 P9 U9 l' e; N7 P7 d4 T4 L( {; `- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
: a. Y6 G% H' s# v# s$ A, e- communication skills
- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
* K$ b% ^6 \/ T6 d5 m! E0 J, k" g) I  @- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
0 ?% b4 e$ Y6 m0 W, u8 m" [- good computer skills
! d3 b: e3 Z" ]* v+ u, `0 O- n- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary

- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
