听说互联网上可以查到一种通过遥控器给DVD机解除区域限制码的方法，这样我们在北美买的DVD机就可以成为全球制式的通用机了。

据说Sony DVP NS-400D是最难hack的一种。不过我找到了一个办法。先声明：我不确定这个办法是否有效。我也不能为这个办法导致的一切后果负责。你必须自己决定是否尝试这个办法，并自负其责。

1)Put SONY DVD player in standby mode with red light on

6 }. R: ]2 n( n) e) r3)Type and hold Magic Key until two blinks then type 994
4)type Magic key
5)Then type 189 and 1 on the remote (to assign function 189 to the "1" Key)you see two blinks
6)repeat steps 3 and 4
# n4 N0 b/ M  K7)Then type 255 and 2 on the remote (to assign function 255 to the "2" Key)you see two blinks
8)repeat steps 3 and 4

Your plauer in standby mode use the One for all remote

Unplug the AC power for 5 seconds
! S+ u5 o" A5 W: T# ]& cNow your player is region free.
