The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department. The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.( \" X7 Y+ T) _' t; j# k" ]

Job Duties/Responsibilities: d) X& [+ o! ~ {
• Human Resources Management
4 J3 Z6 i" i/ V4 d U• Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities
/ l2 S( N4 g$ _2 B• Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors
1 l: q/ s" c+ ?* m• Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities$ g, G! R1 g( D9 l- h0 c! S; B
• Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet requirements for delivery of services" d! n; N. ]2 Q- h# F
• Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities- W. u! [8 g! p6 t2 y6 w
+ o+ v) ]! P/ r7 f6 j
Program Delivery& ^; B' n3 B9 Z- `* |8 G, _
• Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program * R) h7 W( l k2 h- ]8 x
• Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes
1 H4 Z9 L4 `$ |9 r5 w x" G6 \• Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required
% c2 E/ L' E) T* R3 J' r# t# c( U• Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication3 O5 Q" C& W* L; Y# ?9 b2 x
• Review service action plans and support programs as requested

• Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program D3 H3 B- |; K; n
• Implement service modification, as required

Administration% m( L" i7 p* Z9 T: v% Q
• Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director
- X' G$ T; h! U4 k, f, M• Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review
: o2 b0 r/ {: y2 d( ?: S' M• Update program files and documents are with current information and documentation, as required9 U# M& ~9 C; k# a0 q

Qualifications:! n) d4 i5 u$ h/ A
: G. ?" Z3 M3 h' l% J
• Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field; W4 n. p- [" `* k- W
• Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities ?; N$ s/ i$ c/ Y6 C
• Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience
# u% Q) S( r2 Y1 _, w; t, A• Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations9 k/ O" u# m2 s5 L. _
• Ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse population
/ L, _4 r/ p8 d+ X; _3 o• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office
