The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department. The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.

This position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload. The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.9 w. A; x" W/ b% @) u, M6 ]

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities ; u7 \5 H$ Z* V& o3 X, j
• Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors
: v3 G3 H. W. g* T, A) ?• Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities* x! v$ J! b0 Y6 J; i
• Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet requirements for delivery of services6 u& L% a$ P6 A1 d: Q/ t
• Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities" b# v+ n l3 y, _! E5 x2 O- Q

Program Delivery$ Q* p' b1 |( {
• Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program - k9 r; t$ E8 @
• Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes) B) V( ~) {1 E3 C
• Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required
6 K( o- c" j. [" e• Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication
7 r, ?( ^8 z/ A3 C• Review service action plans and support programs as requested
, L$ b) q% l) H, a• Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department
/ d# W) N7 h v- k• Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program

Administration
& _8 ~! N- @1 D1 I- k• Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director
: s& [+ @% p( C s: J8 F* s• Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review

Qualifications:
+ _" q& o0 L, F$ i y0 O: l7 r/ @" w6 k" h! M3 m
• Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field
; p, |- O% t6 C• Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities
F! n5 U9 Q+ _" t3 N• Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience3 Q: t7 d, L% q
• Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations
, c [1 q4 W/ Y) u1 ]• Ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse population3 J1 g$ X* r. T
• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office
