The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department. The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.( U7 {! n, m }3 t4 d5 W. x3 ^# D
/ C( ]- B5 b. G! v, ?This position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload. The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.* V% y5 ]5 P; Q; ^+ n$ C! h

Job Duties/Responsibilities:. ^# L# R M) m, X
• Human Resources Management
' L4 L9 Q1 s: y$ n: Q• Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities
0 p, p N! e7 Y6 f a- T$ `• Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors - `8 K' g. C, g$ P0 U# \8 s
• Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities: |) R3 G0 r9 u5 v4 m
• Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet requirements for delivery of services
4 ^/ w' d+ U t• Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities

9 g- m) j/ f' H3 mProgram Delivery. A3 g: ?9 E7 J" }3 z
• Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program
5 i3 `; {0 Y: R8 B• Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes
/ Q% e$ O" n% Y• Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required
/ `4 Y; v+ U8 t2 E3 P• Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication

• Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department
; w# J4 S: P) W2 Z$ k• Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program+ \! Z+ {: J! c: v
• Implement service modification, as required

% L, D2 ? s' w: }& v& w• Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director
* v- |1 f$ F3 L- m• Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review

• Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field+ ]2 }2 f4 F% z& @! C3 @
• Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities
- H& B% a$ H6 y! M5 U* T! J• Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience5 S( Q, H, t T5 X8 w" N
• Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations
1 J' N5 n- x3 D# }5 e• Ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse population
