The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department.  The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.

4 B* u$ l7 P3 h' c0 Z: lThis position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload.  The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.' k! p; Q$ L, |) I' b/ w

6 z  `% i7 U; p. IJob Duties/Responsibilities:) q; Q" a% V$ k- f, @9 k0 {/ j
•        Human Resources Management
; r* D) U0 A  G3 W•        Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities
* G! O+ J  |8 A/ X•        Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors
% ]9 v) Z/ z, N7 d' Q/ A•        Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities
# d! Y$ X( |- Z* w•        Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet         requirements for delivery of services# ~# N( @& q/ Z
•        Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities

Program Delivery
, O: I: |5 C! n" f1 m, r•        Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program $ F1 l& N' ^- ]% a. h2 g
•        Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes# }) J: C5 _7 |) s
•        Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required* k5 V8 J) ^8 J% Z+ }
•        Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication, y! h, Y5 a  O7 |+ {( W
•        Review service action plans and support programs as requested5 A0 d/ v2 a! I2 d. h6 z
•        Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department# C1 G- e) T1 V5 F1 x
•        Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program
3 f  R( n  [" X$ F% k! a•        Implement service modification, as required: z" a5 W& w9 q+ l2 x" Q8 h

Administration8 f: \0 q# U% P( L( w
•        Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director1 E/ [) {$ I% t# ]) E
•        Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review# B: n2 T1 `  Z* I& ?
•        Update program files and documents are with current information and documentation, as required# h/ E$ X' b7 P3 T$ l

2 \- Y+ F# {: U! s7 m•        Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field2 d6 `% q) t6 I9 d+ H" h
•        Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities
# C: ^& j! ]$ Z1 `5 i! R•        Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience/ [6 y# |" a. o. g3 C* i7 |
•        Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations. v4 e# J; v# [' ?( r
•        Ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse population
  C; J7 b: C& Y' t•        Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office
! q: T9 A6 m5 _* n) {1 Q•        Equivalences will be considered; T* x; m& I9 z8 C: [" S
