Housing Program Worker

Key Responsibilities:
' \2 }% C7 p, c3 t, {  X3 Z To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
/ K5 Q' [& Z* b, h9 Y To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
! H" L3 v. v! u! U! l: N7 m To help promote the program in the community.
! U+ N- b  N" M3 n* H# P To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
 To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
( x# E; W5 W. N7 G To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
 To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
1 _4 M/ s8 _& L! Q5 e1 \( S To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

Qualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
0 ]/ T9 b5 }) G5 z 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
4 }# Y* s: ?% F9 f3 o Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
 Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
) y! v7 D$ D% @5 n* ~ Current CPR and First Aid certifications
8 V9 }) ^' i: ^' G# B Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
