Has the following summer position available: June 1 – August 16, 2005 (40 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities:
& t) U" b2 [6 Z5 s To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
- k: z( @" Z; n- G% O To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
 To help promote the program in the community.
$ T' I; E- O" K. d$ m9 l7 B- A To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
 To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
 To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
 To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
 To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

Qualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
+ q9 l/ Y9 p% t8 a 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
 Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
. L! q2 Z/ O1 U) d# J Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
" Z) v& t0 K! `. \" D! R Current CPR and First Aid certifications
 Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
