Has the following summer position available: June 1 – August 16, 2005 (40 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities:
 To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
 To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
 To help promote the program in the community.
( C' [1 ^/ |! A; r1 y# L To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
 To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
4 O( ]  U7 O. R0 G To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
. d- x( H8 c- T' n% g: Y7 u To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
, ^1 q: m  q( t8 k4 w& L# j, o To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

/ o: ]) ~: ]6 u: JQualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
" \! \! {  u3 Y2 \  Q 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
8 Q: F. v2 X: {8 |0 ], Y Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
 Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
 Current CPR and First Aid certifications
 Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
