Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
) D$ S3 F# X" K1 G% sResponsibilities:
3 X, X; I: M: [. F1 T; }% {* n. Q- Organize focus group(s)
' c2 J. T, d# |$ \, B4 _2 p- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program
: e$ K3 H4 }8 B% p+ N3 h- Supervise volunteer(s)
0 U4 i7 u2 f' J, ^& c; U3 d- Prepare final report for funding agency

5 a, y: l( R9 u, M
- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
3 ]5 }( [5 `1 ]  n9 U6 i- communication skills
9 I% V+ I/ k) b/ P! z6 N- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
+ m' x  `/ c9 m6 R% P' G- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary
