Responsibilities:
- Organize focus group(s)
- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
+ J# C9 O9 P  \0 F- Recruit children for summer program
) H0 ]8 k1 X1 I* l/ U- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program
- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency

1 L4 E+ }0 q1 BQualifications:

6 Q# P2 l! o% o# {# I- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- communication skills
- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
5 `4 R! e8 H' ]# o- B" E- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
' A$ t" U, V  b: {  N- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
& U( I' P2 ~# n+ @5 u7 Z
& [% U4 Y; {* F: ]Other

5 q% P# c" N! b5 m- must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

" b- T2 o1 S8 Q- [- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
