Job Description

Responsibilities:

- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports3 [: d5 Q- U9 z% ?# y6 }
- Recruit children for summer program: Z. p/ i% ^$ l: v9 }3 x
- Provide orientation for parents
& o" K+ E, e% u- Find sponsors to enhance program/ L6 g4 X% R- l1 V* C3 c. R- o$ [0 a
- Supervise volunteer(s)
- V m5 h6 r( ]3 c1 m) q+ r( v8 |- Prepare final report for funding agency

4 \% m/ A; S' r- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
" w0 `" x7 w( e+ B! `. e- good coordinating and interpersonal skills$ A" _- B3 x3 h7 j7 W9 s0 n; g
- communication skills) }0 W8 k$ O1 w' ]2 W
- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities' w n7 o1 D: K, m" r' S% S, s
- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset9 ?: Y4 l1 h+ o/ Y# W' G. h
- good computer skills. m0 h) [& d$ t" c) ^

- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
