Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
Responsibilities:
* o" i2 m" o" U6 K) |2 o& E9 ?- Organize focus group(s)
- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
4 M7 j; Y% D  H0 [" ?( X- Recruit children for summer program
7 Z" o4 y; [0 u, s: o" }- B( j- Provide orientation for parents
- U) S, k8 l, W/ Q- Find sponsors to enhance program
4 \. \: `: i' B, B- Supervise volunteer(s)
) m  t% O+ u* W: R# f: X$ R/ D* r- Prepare final report for funding agency

# j7 }" e4 \' }5 Y2 w( nQualifications:

6 G8 b9 O: ~% K# T3 G% @8 o* W5 A- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
+ F( P% u1 r+ l- communication skills
- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
, y* U0 C! t% f) V3 y* ^- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
2 C$ d4 U; Y5 N% V- good computer skills
7 ?! h( |+ r3 }7 F- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary

' M  F" u) t3 G! x$ {- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
