Position title: Community Development Worker

1 V, \. D! C( t( \4 U3 E- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population

" n) Z6 p7 r9 A& C# K0 @! x$ J3 f6 g- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of

- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members5 k3 W3 a; Q$ W2 w) j3 w% _6 F, c9 G- i
- update ASSIST website3 E3 T+ Q) \7 {; L( P
- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre7 ]/ [% ]1 ? |+ M5 R7 \- z% j& H
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services3 |4 Y9 N4 \- n( N$ J( K$ a
- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time9 F6 D" @( e J
- update membership database

- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of
6 S/ f7 w, U9 t% Y! ~# D experience and education . j# \9 q. M+ I2 w" h9 G- i
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills# R) n, @" Q p3 ?- a* Q, @" H
- experience in community work and immigrant services
) g2 z3 ^. I9 m- experience in website update/design
* I8 K& K! q- z& e0 o) _/ y- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset/ d0 y6 k" q- \& {% W4 J* |
