- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of 7 `; ?9 l$ y. E/ B7 m3 b. t1 y
social services
; t* v; \( i8 V# X- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
: s) d4 E: F% a6 F- X, A" s3 B- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members: ~/ X2 A! j. L7 x% i: O; t
- update ASSIST website
- f0 a1 G% E/ d+ c7 O- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre" m+ f1 S7 G7 `' ^( m3 t
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services" O- y. O7 o( ~% m! Z' g
- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time/ d: ]! N4 T. d; i3 S5 f1 [3 R, j
- update membership database

Qualifications8 G; N* d! ]) h+ m! R& n( w
- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of
( ~* k- `: H8 d1 F experience and education
4 A' I+ L8 Y; e' O a% b# f* F- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
8 |% K( z" k, R! z' |$ v- experience in community work and immigrant services
, k z9 y# H# j0 [7 }: f+ I4 K- experience in website update/design: u/ L% }5 P6 u, Q
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
