Responsibilities:
-        Support the Summer Children’s Program Coordinator in the
        preparation and implementation of the Summer Camps
-        Assist with facilitating the summer children’s program
-        Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies
! k! }2 L+ ]# u" Y* y6 M& w6 {4 L-        Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program
        Coordinator
-        Assist with any other program related tasks as assigned by the Senior Program Manager

. |& F, x4 P4 f+ ?Qualifications:
& J7 v% U" z- H+ N4 H-        Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood
+ M. |0 g- W( p: V; t: }3 s' ~        Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
! c& C1 J5 M! p8 K) i' U( u- i-        Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
) ~5 `5 }! ~! ?-        Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
$ O4 i$ o# P* j  K2 S7 t3 k6 l-        Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
' ]+ ]& K* B% D, C2 c-        Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
& ~: l/ L7 S" H8 j1 x# z7 D8 j-        Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
' x$ q& b3 S9 ?2 j5 t! ?-        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* b4 n1 c* M& E-        Returning student (should return to school after summer)
-        Successful applicants must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

-        Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June (planning)
# ^( U/ D1 A% ~" z5 A6 o% I! G        and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
-        Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009

-        $14.00 per hour
