! g$ J( e( L, P& r-        Support the Summer Children’s Program Coordinator in the
        preparation and implementation of the Summer Camps
-        Assist with facilitating the summer children’s program
-        Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies
! P  K$ H" i+ ]- U) t& J7 x: ?9 f-        Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program
        Coordinator
$ X, a. {( C' E-        Assist with any other program related tasks as assigned by the Senior Program Manager

Qualifications:
5 J: S/ m) q4 Q1 S. w1 ?-        Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood
) w7 A* r, r1 n! H2 X) U        Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
8 N5 Y0 g. b+ l-        Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
-        Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
-        Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
-        Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
; a9 z& w1 r( S# `! U1 w: c-        Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
0 F& F+ y; T- E! g$ C-        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
, `: x- N7 p# H8 q& W; K) L2 |3 C-        Returning student (should return to school after summer)
-        Successful applicants must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

Other Information:
-        Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June (planning)
        and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
-        Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009

Salary
