* Conducts isotopic analysis of geological samples using Thermal Ionization Mass Spectrometry, including performing isotopic analysis of standard samples and control solutions to verify machine performance specifications ]3 ^/ S/ f* y9 i# F
* Loads purified samples to filaments for analysis
# P f+ M2 a, m4 m5 b * Performs data entry and ensures quality control and quality assurance/ r9 s8 q5 h5 [+ L6 K
* Coordinates instrument analysis schedules for Research Associates, Post Doctoral Fellows and Graduate Students
N- R8 l8 W2 k2 Y& q% n * Provides general technical support and routine husbandry for the Mass Spectrometry Laboratory, including preparing filaments (welding and out gassing) for analysis for use by self and others; cleaning instrument components and conducting minor repairs/replacement of components; checking glassware and pipettes; orders consumables and supplies$ u o9 q( n$ v: ~+ H5 i+ Q
* Delivers completed data to users; maintains instrument and safety logs

Qualifications
