9 r1 {: d# S+ \$ a+ H    * Conducts isotopic analysis of geological samples using Thermal Ionization Mass Spectrometry, including performing isotopic analysis of standard samples and control solutions to verify machine performance specifications
2 M+ q4 N$ t& h1 R4 E5 k    * Loads purified samples to filaments for analysis
    * Performs data entry and ensures quality control and quality assurance
    * Coordinates instrument analysis schedules for Research Associates, Post Doctoral Fellows and Graduate Students
, V" b, w* Q7 @8 O# L    * Provides general technical support and routine husbandry for the Mass Spectrometry Laboratory, including preparing filaments (welding and out gassing) for analysis for use by self and others; cleaning instrument components and conducting minor repairs/replacement of components; checking glassware and pipettes; orders consumables and supplies

    * Assists in the upkeep of safety procedures and information; completes routine checks on safety equipment

Qualifications

    * Technical Diploma required; a BSc is preferred
* ~" @! e, p6 {) y6 j  w8 w    * Minimum of one year of related experience in some aspect of analytical mass spectrometry is required

you mean the pay is cheaper, but i think there are lots people can do and this kind of job is worth this price. It is not senior analysist

1 O& U) p  L" Q/ D就是怕市道不好，UA 把價錢壓低了。
本來 GC-MS 的， 聼說在 GM 裝焊擡推都有 us$76/hr,現在改行了。

! J  ]% Z$ a6 w" S' G% h- t
7 E/ u6 p: K! B好了。言歸正傳，ua 給的工資，往往只得市場的 6至7成。

You've never heard of Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry?
Samples were first separated into components by GC before sending to MS for identification.
