The layers

, m5 u4 J9 g- fI have walked through many websites, h' P" L+ O- l) l! @
some of them I like,
; n9 d3 V% G( Q9 r; c! oand some of them I do not like.
4 b; O0 a+ q% N6 cOh, Lao Yang have made a tribe
4 @3 W# d0 W% E4 r( W, pout of his true affections.
) M1 X& h& q1 g0 k+ c4 r- w. dI go, I go% @" D3 k' j, O2 _4 J5 u
exulting somewhat,
8 k' Y+ n$ u' uwith my will intact to go0 ^( I7 P$ V" S; ^. c% X/ K
wherever I need to go,
, f* p1 c8 X' @4 a$ tand every post on the Edmontonchina Community
, c- v, p. a. OPrecious to me.8 M# M& N0 }4 c+ `3 H3 b$ O6 I
In my darkest night,
; F3 A0 w5 c6 g6 [; k; v: Dwhen the moon was covered% Z4 H2 \9 p. C% E7 z& M b4 N
and I roamed through websites,6 T7 k7 t, W$ F8 ]
a nimbus-clouded Lao Yang’ voice
, K4 r& O4 `! G8 w) @directed me:" X: |; z, U3 w9 p
Live in the layers4 T# f6 m' _4 X+ x) A
not on the litter.3 a6 n# Q/ A o
Though I lack the art
2 h( m8 c5 r4 Bto decipher it,
/ c: B( s/ C& @" ]no doubt the next chaper% c" E; k6 a/ u
in my book of transformations

though some principle of being $ {9 ]/ Y. H8 }6 L! ~% w9 z( U2 A. J
abides, from which I struggle

When I look behind,
( @$ L5 q* n; M% ?1 @. c; jas I am compelled to look
6 E8 ?4 `3 L+ \) }* xbefore I can gather strength
' Z9 U6 ], j$ rto proceed on my journey, 6 P. F" ?% ?0 j
I see the milestones dwindling
& r' P& n' p0 v: Ztoward the horizon 3 d( j) d1 q0 E6 o& z! b7 B( `
and the slow fires trailing 5 g) M# {5 ?) Z7 M7 b8 ?3 L
from the abandoned camp-sites, " h' W% E3 @$ V! c% f+ K) T
over which scavenger angels
6 V7 ? [5 Y [: \wheel on heavy wings.
( Y; U# [/ }" |9 w+ N" {3 fOh, I have made myself a tribe 6 U+ [% z: T0 ?: u5 v+ k) @# L$ U/ n
out of my true affections,
( G! [$ R) {& |: v, m$ |and my tribe is scattered! ! T! z6 u4 m$ _. o2 K8 }4 e
How shall the heart be reconciled : i" r2 r% R3 M- A$ C1 z
to its feast of losses? 8 j* E3 i9 C w
In a rising wind
4 O+ t! n$ W1 A- U1 X: @: h% d& Mthe manic dust of my friends, ( X: q& X& j) p- l) _
those who fell along the way, 5 }) N/ x$ u( C) S
bitterly stings my face. # o/ p9 ~- g' x* z4 u7 N
Yet I turn, I turn, ( c6 c, a5 A5 ]# H [* s
exulting somewhat,
8 v' ? U* }4 Y4 y3 ?; v8 A" zwith my will intact to go

precious to me.
