Job Description
Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
( R4 S$ |# x! _* gResponsibilities:
- Organize focus group(s)
- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
- Provide orientation for parents
/ D/ h8 w) R2 m* M+ K- Find sponsors to enhance program
- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency

" z  e+ v" N4 W2 J$ ?- B/ _. rQualifications:

- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- communication skills
2 |3 M: m& W& \, i- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
) V; j4 D: Y4 g! @- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
5 z2 w; z" M  m* b+ i$ n5 L- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
: U0 A$ v0 T1 P# ?: e5 W9 b7 J- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
