8 R% _( R+ l- y) i' \As a Business Analyst, you will analyze business requirements, conduct impact analyses, and perform design, development, support and documentation activities in a dynamic and multi-application environment. Working under a Team Lead, you will help to develop a long term plan to replace our client's legacy applications.
4 h7 Q- s! N" R5 R' lAs part of this endeavour, you will be responsible for performing the following type of activities:
5 F( @. O4 I7 l3 p3 i9 o/ jConvert business requirements into design specifications and prepare specifications for user sign-off.
" {! ~7 |* y. U1 M; oCreate process and data models to visually represent requirements information. % h2 D( }3 D: }: V
Perform system testing with internal and external clients. Provide support during various phases of testing.
: Y2 S1 O- h T/ jAssist with the resolution of code deficiencies found during the assembly test and system test phase.
9 H6 ?& Z h+ x" NSupport, maintain and upgrade application after it moves into production.
3 w) N4 z! `/ U+ zAnalyze current technical and business objectives, plans, processes, information flows, and systems. 2 d; k$ M' L% d. L* c8 ]! x3 a; M7 r
Assist in the identification, assessment and resolution of application problems and recommend modifications.
5 s/ }& G2 C% wSummarize and present key findings with recommendations for improvement.
9 i7 I# l0 G# F e6 ]Responsible for working with Project manager to set and review overall quality of deliverables. 6 F3 p: z7 B5 v( l
Minimum of 2 years of experience in application development, experience with legacy applications would be an asset
; x! W2 y+ z4 B8 m. C• A university degree in Computer Science, Commerce (MIS), or similar discipline is preferred, but an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
3 O8 x; D5 A: n; h" \, @• Experience with Web Applications, VB.net, C# and/or .NET technologies an asset., B0 a2 B/ s7 W
• Understanding of Object Oriented design principles and the .Net Framework.! C- Q3 K" E$ @. R1 L" J2 G
• Exceptional consultation skills are critical, with the ability to convey technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences and contribute within a team environment.% f/ \) b0 [5 J
