Position: Volunteer Services Manager / Location: Edmonton / Closing Date: November 07, 2008 / NOTE: This is a bargaining unit position.

: c# n& c/ Q8 D0 m8 Y( ]9 y6 q+ ^1 HPosition Abstract: responsible for the administration, supervision/management of a comprehensive volunteer program that supports CKUA Radio's mission, vision and strategic plan, this full time position also supervises any support resources required to administer the functions of the volunteer department.

Key Responsibilities: volunteer recruitment, development/implementation of a volunteer recognition program, training volunteers, development of policy &  procedures that support the volunteer program, administering a volunteer record keeping system. PLUS: responsible for working with CKUA's nine Volunteer Chapters located throughout Alberta by providing them with guidelines, operating processes & training.

Qualifications: formal training in a post secondary program of study geared to volunteer management/experience working with volunteers in a charitable organization essential; experience working in a unionized environment is desired. Some travel required.
