The Canadian Accreditation Council of Human Services is a non-profit company dedicated to a peer review accreditation process based on best practice standards, ensuring organizations focus on service excellence.

We are seeking a very skilled individual who is well connected to Aboriginal communities, knowledgeable about standards and accreditation processes, self motivated and able to work independently.  

  ?' N4 x# N% F2 r: U6 |1 x5 uDuties:
•        Provide administrative support to Organizations preparing for accreditations and to Peer Review Teams during the process.
•        Develop and deliver workshops/training sessions to assist organizations to develop or strengthen their capacity to provide excellent programming.
•        Facilitate peer review, team leader training and other related workshops.
% f& l2 y) `; j) u" L1 Z+ I" z: M•        Assist in the development and revision of standards, manuals, and tools used within the accreditation process.

! ]  A  V' j( ?9 n) n+ A! eRequirements:
•        Able to work with people from diverse background and interests towards consensus.
; Q. `( r: j, {0 g; R( ?•        Understanding of adult learning, workshop development and group facilitation.
•        Degree in the area of human services;
. U& U* `2 X: K7 j8 W# }•        Able to travel extensively ;
•        Able to work in a team as well as independently;
# q3 w, Q& n. B( r, u! |9 t, R•        Excellent written and oral communication skills;
+ B7 {' _9 f5 J•        Experience working in non-governmental agencies and the Aboriginal community;
•        Current CYIM, Criminal Record Check, Driver’s Abstract and access to a vehicle.
