Full time position (35 hours each week)

7 b# @1 q2 R0 c3 w+ G5 Y% RJob Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
2 T$ Q: _4 s* h* R/ O) e•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
/ P9 h: B* G0 T9 m( q- l% C•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
! Q8 t* B$ q8 \/ U$ B3 j1 e& u1 M, C•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
% S* m1 b! w) j) C$ E4 \•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
+ S4 C+ I$ r! }. u: l•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
% x# s! \  V% v: c  X/ S; Z•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
, ~1 j& e2 R* v  N1 Y( H: q•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

- W9 r: y) D" d' }: I: ^5 vQualifications
/ c6 W' O- f4 q) s8 Q•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
3 W0 ^( {4 m: }•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
. [- L2 ^. a: k* B* I/ d) r•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
