% t' m. o  r/ S5 W# iPosition: Youth Services Manager
% \$ {3 t5 U) n+ y$ iFull time position (35 hours each week)

: Z& y) i  C4 R! \  k. }Job Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
0 K+ T7 D' l% x+ H9 L  _( S5 L•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
/ T2 R9 r1 e# b, f•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
4 n( h4 u9 R5 A•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
  F4 g8 x' o# v5 a+ h. @•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
2 ~0 m2 c2 x, L9 M•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
0 Q/ W2 b4 d* R( \* v) Q•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
  h  Y/ @1 s% g5 l•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
6 ]7 H! ^  X$ w! u•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
) B' e3 f9 \- M( }+ c  N" I. o7 w•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
