Job Description
Position: Youth Services Manager
Full time position (35 hours each week)

3 M& p3 s* W! O7 iJob Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
5 H: q! |: M/ R3 s$ J7 y•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
5 M4 G/ W; D/ K+ j: X8 v•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
: ^5 [3 x, |# O, |•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
# D5 I$ I& e7 {, u7 L•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
; h1 ?+ ^; ]4 P( y/ N3 Y•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
! V  b: u( |$ g9 ]) |•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

/ S1 j1 q/ h- e- v/ f- b7 uQualifications
( H) N& j' ?* N. |+ ^1 D2 i•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
- s. \0 J2 B* }2 t4 O" h* s•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
