Job Description
Position: Youth Services Manager
Full time position (35 hours each week)

Job Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
. a2 F, O4 r: J5 R* `•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
$ m. {( A9 Q( l& V9 f•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
+ {* H4 |0 h* B/ _" s$ m•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
+ }1 e4 @% X$ P* c6 V, k•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
' z$ `2 f8 _: k/ [% V! q•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
# j# S+ X0 c: e3 b2 l& C•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
* [6 k$ l" C" B1 N' \( F: L•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
9 k) V2 d, l+ m" w0 ?  J•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
* `! l% h/ H1 H- h; d& [7 k•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends

Qualifications
, u4 O2 Y- P+ b* t8 N% l" n. q•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
" Q& ?8 c9 E, B$ p* V•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
9 g( S+ Z' c  q. E" q- ?•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
