Full time position (35 hours each week)

: Z' d& d2 `) C8 `* r( K5 `+ DJob Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
; s8 z6 v4 C/ |•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
1 Y3 r/ O. W; z* N+ }+ E+ c•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
/ c# W" ]- {. |/ v& Q8 E•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
2 \) d- D; O& p, V. q•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
+ l4 _' a/ \& ]$ x. w/ N•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
. m* R- B! ~$ m" T; r•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
4 w7 P5 C& o* W1 h•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
