Job Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
0 P5 S  S# q5 m& w5 A* z% m•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
. U# g7 M2 F9 @•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
- H2 E9 H' q9 {4 w- a- b•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
6 S  R9 J1 v8 E•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
0 o$ J7 g: ~, S4 e•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
7 o0 p" Y* _9 v1 y0 \•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
) F/ B% H0 K" x, o8 y+ E•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
0 X4 n* l$ z* F, g3 i8 y9 p' _( i•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
. T3 t7 O1 a# S4 k•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
5 h0 ?* V: _$ O6 T$ C) V, G4 e•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
