Job Description
+ m! G+ t# @2 W+ ~# sPosition: Youth Services Manager
Full time position (35 hours each week)

Job Description – Responsibilities
6 I! \1 C$ Q7 v4 v& H" {( X, k•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
0 N9 x- t% _- ^! M7 m8 _5 E9 |•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
3 m- S) @, d) o- c5 M•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
: ?- N) d) B2 }& J7 }! I% r•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
1 N! g# y" F  Q3 g/ C$ a•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
5 U# b& A! e9 u+ S# I•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
/ z6 D! O6 c1 f- @•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

5 Q" T: D2 ^% K2 f8 O; \1 ?Qualifications
' j- q0 e5 a+ {0 ]! F$ U) ]4 {! Q•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
$ N  K$ K- n& S6 Y•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
/ C8 l  Q& D6 `. b" @/ G•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
3 Y0 A, G# e2 {* ~! o+ X: |2 _6 f•        willingness to learn
