Reports to: National Sales Manager3 G; h4 _# }3 ]+ M3 t: }

Major Responsibilities: $ t o; ]9 l: v8 P' U
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations." U0 b* g$ J( t7 h+ Y
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
@% P' X7 j2 n( K, q) ]5 K• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. . O# K, P; K& n" |5 W; |( c
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office., x2 G' R5 o( `5 w" s. C
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.4 H( h e w( I V5 |$ }
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.4 m' D U6 f% K
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.' z! d# `9 e8 A& s( p) j5 O
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
9 f \; Y4 m7 z" }: H• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
9 [7 e( t, F0 Y) U8 | |" P7 i• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
2 j9 L- z1 I* W, [4 p) O+ B• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
& Q- ~& k/ e' x' R A+ b- W/ O• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
; y; J0 ~/ f5 F• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

1 R4 T0 ^# M% t; @! x- ^• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. ' R5 v7 \; m, T" x% k% L
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
9 D/ b0 x1 C8 t( `• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
" t- e: U2 M: ~# a* y0 k# l C1 S• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. * b/ A3 W; I+ S
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

0 q4 O9 Q% @( b" G• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other

• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
