No, only those vehicles entering an intersection after the light has turned red and have not come to a full stop prior to entering the intersection are photographed. Drivers who enter on yellow and find themselves in an intersection when the light changes to red are not photographed. This technology is intended to catch vehicles that enter an intersection after the signal turns red.

Does someone review the photographs before motorists are ticketed?
. }. M* h0 J$ K, H: Z0 j7 r4 h4 bYes, trained personnel review every picture to verify information and ensure the vehicle is in violation. Tickets are mailed to vehicle owners where it is clear the vehicle ran the red light.The registered owner of the vehicle will receive a $287.00 ticket in the mail.

, e7 k8 r( h5 |* u( ~Yes, if you fail to come to a full stop before turning right at a red light at intersections equipped with a red light camera, you will be ticketed. Based upon speed, and the time between photographs, EPS can prove a vehicle has failed to stop prior to making a right hand turn on a red light.

I have seen the flash activate repeatedly when vehicles are entering on a green light. Why does this happen?
This occurs when a technician changes the film and tests the camera. No violations are generated during this time.
