0 @3 B1 @3 X2 n8 V& F1 E * Develops,coordinates, and facilitates the Institute for Sexual Minority Studies and Services (iSMSS), Camp fYrefly sexual minority youth outreach program$ O; T% E. N: r! y
* Coordinates Camp fYrefly's year-round educational programming, peer leadership training,and youth mentoring activities9 n, z* L) @. ^
* Coordinates, develops and oversees the camp application, recruitment, and selection processes, t! T1 i0 t5 J* S7 j
* Recruits, trains, and supervises volunteers who support the delivery of Camp fYrefly's annual summer youth leadership retreat/ z; ]4 ^: e7 x: c
* Develops and solicits appropriate workshop and educational programming in consultation with a youth advisory committee and community stakeholders4 E) @3 O- a/ ]( H" z
* Liaises with the Assistant Director to set appropriate work priorities, action plans,and volunteer and program resource requirements% i, L/ T8 E' W4 }! k0 O
* Works with the Assistant Director to plan, deliver and evaluate fundraising activities and donor recognition programs4 q/ d- Z0 {% ]5 d1 W
* Provides a year-end activities report and program evaluation to the Assistant Director

* Develops and maintains relationships with local and national press and other relevant media

* Post Secondary diploma in a related discipline such as education, human services, community development or social sciences; Bachelor's degree in education, social work, psychology, or a related professional discipline preferred6 `5 z% ~. \1 z
* Three to five years background experience in youth programming and/or community development with a particular emphasis on sexual minority youth. N1 g) w& G1 c$ D3 w% `" y
* Experience working with Aboriginal and ethnocultural communities an asset
$ ?- l* L3 Q, O. Y' | * Knowledge of violence and bullying prevention, harm reduction, and youth advocacy strategies* G$ s' h/ H2 L0 W
* Demonstrated experience in the development of youth educational programming, community outreach, and conflict resolution skills+ y) P* T8 ?+ }( ~
* Knowledge and experience in fund development, volunteer management, proposal writing, and special event planning
