# K! j4 l6 t4 w# k1 n' [  q    * Develops,coordinates, and facilitates the Institute for Sexual Minority Studies and Services (iSMSS), Camp fYrefly sexual minority youth outreach program  F1 T1 y* `% J7 c
    * Coordinates Camp fYrefly's year-round educational programming, peer leadership training,and youth mentoring activities
; Q+ e2 K0 ]0 V2 w    * Coordinates, develops and oversees the camp application, recruitment, and selection processes
$ p9 O7 A/ p4 H( u2 t; i) f    * Recruits, trains, and supervises volunteers who support the delivery of Camp fYrefly's annual summer youth leadership retreat
. x# P) z- V5 g  J( R! ?# m    * Develops and solicits appropriate workshop and educational programming in consultation with a youth advisory committee and community stakeholders6 q8 V, h- d, c! `' ~+ Q1 h
    * Liaises with the Assistant Director to set appropriate work priorities, action plans,and volunteer and program resource requirements! e7 Y, n' u6 _4 @! V
    * Works with the Assistant Director to plan, deliver and evaluate fundraising activities and donor recognition programs( t6 ?) Y, V  {  A, d8 I1 a* Q
    * Provides a year-end activities report and program evaluation to the Assistant Director3 s; y: X! p6 o: }0 ^
    * Serves as a resource person and liaises with the Assistant Director in budget planning1 N( f$ W) w& H5 S- R
    * Develops high quality promotional and educational materials; r. B0 e7 D' p* L4 v7 g* r
    * Develops and maintains relationships with local and national press and other relevant media$ E) d) H- {1 \/ K, r/ ^
    * Creates and delivers community-based presentations on camp-related research and evaluation results
% z( b2 g! R2 h, \    * Provides support and advice on emerging LGBTTQ youth needs and trends to Institute personnel and partner agencies

    * Post Secondary diploma in a related discipline such as education, human services, community development or social sciences; Bachelor's degree in education, social work, psychology, or a related professional discipline preferred3 v6 }6 U. y( f6 s( m& p
    * Three to five years background experience in youth programming and/or community development with a particular emphasis on sexual minority youth: H# F$ L  O5 h( _. n
    * Experience working with Aboriginal and ethnocultural communities an asset% m' b7 A( z4 |$ J
    * Knowledge of violence and bullying prevention, harm reduction, and youth advocacy strategies
, C# m+ a. G2 n, g9 L8 l5 Z, e% m" I    * Demonstrated experience in the development of youth educational programming, community outreach, and conflict resolution skills
9 }/ K* B5 `! s) c+ ?    * Knowledge and experience in fund development, volunteer management, proposal writing, and special event planning0 x6 ]- @* l8 }! w: _/ i
    * Demonstrated skills in program/donor communication, development of information, education and communication material (including web-based documentation)
