ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (in order of importance. Other duties may3 R# x$ G# E& u2 S6 ^" `% K

1. Consults with Sales Team in the layout, design and space planning of
4 k4 {/ ^# E; Q2 y' m7 F( Ffurniture specifications for client offices. Travels to client’s location to

h$ @' ?3 H+ s% L" x; r2. Performs programming, space planning, furniture selection, layout, casework,' K! e9 f0 S p2 @0 F$ ]
product pricing, design and selection of fabrics and finishes, includes as-built7 g) R# H" N4 m) u2 K
drawings, block plans, space plans and finished working drawings for
+ o% d6 J: @! t' k% A: v5 vspecification and installation.
1 A9 {" M9 l! Y3 ^- q" |0 x3. Provides professional customer interface by attending client planning% Z0 z' a+ A `6 {) y" g: h
meetings to determine furniture needs and develops solutions to meet these

4. Offers technical design and creative consultation to customers by answering
' ?" m" f& o8 e( N; ^2 a. Hroutine and highly specialized questions regarding furniture systems.
* e$ c9 ?- @) h. ?- G5. Coordinates, develops, and reviews proposed project designs and construction* F" @# O j5 ^/ Q' b
plans. Prepares presentation material including color finish boards. Reviews job8 ?9 J4 E- y% V' A7 s' u
site in order to perform accurate measurements. Will do plan-to-site adherence

6. Validates plans against construction, electrical engineering and Architect
. ?* N, \2 ~; Z& Design (A&D) drawing sets.
" h7 f* n+ P! z3 `7. Develops project specifications, double checks specifications against plans,
) n# V! S3 P/ a8 \assures specifications are ready for order entry (SIF file), and manages changes# Y9 o* m& y2 S( o7 w
and revisions.
5 L" I8 j1 u0 G8. Verifies the company design standards have been met. Provides on-site job8 o- Q0 E" @/ ~9 i
inspections comparing construction drawings to final build-out.
8 r) z" O, M% z0 `* S# p) N! U" s9. Tracks, records and ties design hours to specific projects for job costing.
- R8 [. ^+ O* s6 V10. Works with installers to ensure installation meets customer specifications.
2 I* \+ z0 F7 m11. Participates in work-in-progress (WIP) and open order backlog review

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design with a minimum of two (2) years in a& P D* |) n8 U; d3 ]' L1 }
related field; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and9 }9 V: R8 E5 P' ^+ G# f1 N5 K
experience required. Prior experience in office furniture industry, general- d9 S2 j; P9 t- Q$ O. c) s' g
knowledge of systems furniture, and experience in customer interaction required.
