JERUSALEM - Israel is sending disaster relief to China.! K& E2 J% `6 E) B7 ^# F, [: t
/ w. p& o. k2 \. sForeign Ministry spokesman Arye Mekel says a plane is on the way to southern China carrying clothing, medical supplies, generators and tents for victims of the May 12 earthquake.

Mekel estimated the shipment was worth US$1.5 million and said it was due to arrive in China later today.. F5 X' P4 `+ p: Y& X$ c* S& |/ K
