4 C) T2 N# n. T* R6 C9 a) g+ i0 `8 Z8 cWhen we were called the Sick Man of Asia, we were the Yellow Peril.
When we are billed to be the next Superpower, we are a threat.
" q/ \4 o8 u  B% W* A& c# r1 J
% N# e# d* t7 x% M# g" N* V) FWhen we closed our doors, you smuggled drugs to our markets.
When we embraced Free Trade, you blame us for taking away your jobs.

When we were falling apart, you marched in your troops and wanted your “fair share”.
: o7 m6 U0 q* Y2 Q9 M3 a5 X9 uWhen we were putting the broken pieces together again, “Free Tibet” you scream, “it was an invasion!”

! r  `" Q% U2 g+ YSo, we tried communism, you hated us for being communists
When we embraced capitalism, you hate us for being capitalists.

# N" i# [0 P! k' W- C9 jWhen we have a billion people, you said we were destroying the planet.
* U; R  @* }4 q$ k) c: J- P% IWhen we tried limiting our numbers, you said it is human rights abuse.

When we were poor, you thought we were dogs.
9 P% F) r# K0 h& }- A0 N" |When we loan you cash, you blame us for your debts.

' e6 K; p0 C; |5 F+ T" YWhen we build our industries, you called us polluters.
When we sell you goods, you blame us for global warming.

- H  u- F9 q" x: TWhen we buy oil, you call that exploitation and genocide.
& C3 y0 M' N1 e. y3 f. j2 wWhen you fight for oil, you call that liberation and democracy.

. j+ r* X6 j2 I( aWhen we were lost in chaos and rampage, you wanted rule of law for us.
When we uphold law and order against violence, you call that violating human rights.

When we were silent, you said you want us to have free speech.
When we were silent no more, you say we are brainwashed racists.

" Z! _3 B" Y! dWhy do you hate us so much? We asked.
“No,” you answered, “We don’t hate You.”

$ ~( Y& N+ ~! r& y# PWe don’t hate you either,
But do you understand us?

“We have NBC, CNN and BBCs…”

/ a; Y0 w+ P0 VWhat do you really want from us?
Think hard first, then answer…

Because you only get so many chances,
Enough is enough, enough Hypocrisy for this one world.
