Duties
/ A% ?5 o; O5 W: H; u, {% IWorks within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele
Responsible for specialization in workstation image management
+ [- L3 s4 j" w7 ^' q, R- OResponsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
Provides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
Works within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
% D; {& s  @( W+ f" b! ^5 Q3 vEdits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System
9 D3 m6 ]( x' U) j& dDevelops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP
Develops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS

Qualifications
( o% O3 t9 f) y6 Z6 g  F- o* uTwo year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
( b5 T: T& @1 ^: wRecent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
7 b+ y/ `( ~! ~" o+ pMinimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
Experience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)

Ability to work independently and in a team environment and under pressure
