Duties
Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele
Responsible for specialization in workstation image management
Responsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers

3 _  ?  V, I; u/ I- P# w5 \: XWorks within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff

Develops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP
# ]& P: M8 _( H' R! o/ Q1 e' _Develops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS
Designs, develops and implements MySQL relational databases

  o8 I5 W( X6 qTwo year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
/ [9 F+ m" I# }" {Recent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
2 h! M9 H- `! h  u# WMinimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
- @! q; ^, ], _* D' `) sExperience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
Strong analytical, diagnostic, written and oral communication skills
