Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele. I- c$ B3 A* d) j+ j/ B3 K- T
Responsible for specialization in workstation image management* O. s) w7 |# l
Responsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
& @! Z) @7 V" l. }* |# lProvides help desk and on-call (after hours) support/ C- [! C7 {/ M2 l: Q
Works within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff; W, ] M7 C+ f8 ^) D( e5 S
Edits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System. |5 ^: d# z$ d2 {
Develops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP

Two year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program# {& {7 [6 T) [; o
Recent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer$ [8 P" `6 W8 O/ K
Minimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
( ^6 U* p& ~2 {% |0 O$ }. e0 XExperience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
