Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele

! p: I) Z( o# Q% a+ h2 VResponsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers; m0 Z* N- ~5 v3 \. ^! U
Provides help desk and on-call (after hours) support$ |8 n- L5 D. c% n5 q
Works within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff! G" n, I0 y( G' I9 |! @: z
Edits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System& E9 A+ J$ }7 c1 D" y
Develops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP, K2 u" K6 a8 `
Develops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS

Qualifications& D. K; S, o4 t" B5 t; |* Z/ f
Two year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
- n3 ?# X! D' w+ G( \ a' [, W; C/ ?Recent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
; k2 B* c9 |6 @ bMinimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations- T% J1 e4 b$ n' o& A+ l
Experience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL). O9 B* C; ^3 U
Strong analytical, diagnostic, written and oral communication skills7 n: t ?8 i+ S2 e6 q j" m U; T
Ability to work independently and in a team environment and under pressure
