Position Title: Receptionist/Immigration Services Worker . R7 b5 `0 q) t, U- y4 l8 d
(Full time: 35 hours per week)

- answer multi-line phone calls professionally, politely and directing the calls correctly.& }! Y7 H5 e! W8 f( R5 I6 z
- assist with providing counter services and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker$ X, U1 A9 n+ |3 K6 g) m
- reports to the program manager and provides clerical support to all members of the ISP team

- customer service and office clerical experiences; X! F7 T) b/ P0 I2 W: o
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset& U5 x h3 ^' E3 l. e/ N

- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to provide services for Chinese community, U/ ?* J% `) k/ i2 t g! C
- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population access to mainstream services6 F0 ]5 ^2 P j6 H q
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services
: `* k& w5 v# V4 R) V2 u- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
* l: |- e% B9 R. e7 d/ c- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members" o' K; m6 q5 d# Z% d3 h$ B$ O
- update ASSIST website
8 ?5 a# z+ Q! P, r- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre$ P4 O. }) m: Q
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services5 V- F+ H- l9 I+ T
- assist in writing proposal for ISP
0 j# J0 [" F/ B5 n- write quarterly and final reports for ISP* v; _8 i* q' m% H# ]% E
- hold regular meetings with ISP team
! y0 q( ]% ^8 M- j/ r- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)

9 y& s) o0 i/ o1 l; E- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education ( Q$ Z$ S6 t: n' j. k: W; Q
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
, l3 F. G/ `- S- experience in community work and immigrant services& ?8 R. Y9 ]1 f
