- answer multi-line phone calls professionally, politely and directing the calls correctly.9 b' c5 a* Y! T8 G- ~
- assist with providing counter services and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker
3 v! _* b+ k5 p7 t- reports to the program manager and provides clerical support to all members of the ISP team

Qualifications:7 w* Y: p0 a2 [. ^" a
- post secondary diploma

- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset* Z: D" L: w' x- ^+ v2 k

Job Description

) j3 M9 W; }; ?0 p- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population access to mainstream services
( n2 w, [9 a8 i( I" B- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services G/ J9 z) E$ m" }2 p: G" q- N( L+ }
- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies! B- r9 I" y0 z) W5 o- l
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members4 N: j* c8 b( @
- update ASSIST website3 U9 m) {# {7 R5 H8 K3 T: d: Z
- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre9 Z; g) H: E' w0 H
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services
% \* {1 Z- t; h$ H7 C8 k% I- assist in writing proposal for ISP

- hold regular meetings with ISP team

- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education

- S! c9 z) S9 b- p- S# Z! F- experience in community work and immigrant services" u% A7 F8 F+ ]" `/ W* e- a
