Immigrant Settlement Program (ISP) at ASSIST Community Services Centre is currently seeking flexible individual to fill the following two positions:

- answer multi-line phone calls professionally, politely and directing the calls correctly.3 [4 Y/ E+ M; w) k9 t' W
- assist with providing counter services and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker/ u/ C r2 x: |, n4 p
- reports to the program manager and provides clerical support to all members of the ISP team

- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population access to mainstream services5 k9 J8 N" a' i, s% F/ a3 f
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services1 O; L3 W- J2 w5 K6 j# z
- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
6 a; D' Y6 O1 V- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members
, `; T- X/ ~9 k: h0 w- update ASSIST website; T3 s' S1 D l- P8 K
- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre
+ t/ b- Y- s( f- z D. z- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services

- write quarterly and final reports for ISP0 p6 ]' B- F- q" Z, S. s) ~

- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time8 h% C5 U4 z) `
- update membership database5 ~ j* \6 y8 a9 A+ m
- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)' M b3 @0 n* Y

! ]+ k3 Q4 s# c( W3 {- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education + v* S' J/ e) F6 Q1 K
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills+ @; { U0 U8 r; {
- experience in community work and immigrant services
