Job Description

- assist with providing counter services and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker
8 o* w+ O( ?* ^ d5 b0 j" `0 ~5 a& w- reports to the program manager and provides clerical support to all members of the ISP team

Qualifications:
4 [+ ]6 @; V3 q' z7 r& A- post secondary diploma - ?- r; _" w% ?* | O% \
- customer service and office clerical experiences d: H3 h: q& s6 @
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset

- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population access to mainstream services
+ q( W' F, k* N& e- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services5 i o1 p/ U- T" C3 r& y8 v1 J
- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
H2 _! N2 F- _0 ]6 @- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members" `$ z/ y# o: Z! \% j, V
- update ASSIST website- P( M E& n+ d
- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre. G6 B3 F" p3 D9 B' W: j
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services5 s1 J" d, d) o. R2 x7 _7 ] z
- assist in writing proposal for ISP2 W" g: x8 C1 X- |
- write quarterly and final reports for ISP' ?. Y( {0 U8 P+ y7 v
- hold regular meetings with ISP team

0 O! |7 L7 }, R- \# @; O; x" }- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education ; R/ c8 M7 I# ]5 w9 M
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
