There are two ESL Programs available at CCI-LEX and we offer continuous : P- b z; s+ q3 j. S
enrolment and small class sizes.

The LEX Program is open to citizens and residents of Canada, and classes run
7 `! ^5 S+ Z, _* Sduring the daytime (9-3) and in the evenings (6-8) from Monday to Thursday -
# B% v& } P( }3 Q. ^$ }; [) k Cthere are no Friday classes. The cost for the daytime Program is $20.00 (4
6 ?6 V$ Y( l0 i$ Yweeks) and the evening classes are $10.00 (4 weeks). We offer 4 levels of
5 j ~* b9 g5 k- KEnglish as a Second Language study - Beginner (CLB levels 1/2), Intermediate
6 e4 H8 v3 o- e- L4 V' M x1 (CLB levels 3/4), Intermediate 2 (CLB levels 4/5) and Advanced (CLB levels
) T8 l3 o! D. T" ~0 D( G5 z4 p6 and above), as well as a Literacy class for the absolute beginner / D1 p4 M, j$ {$ x1 X0 F4 a. K- t# I
(Pre-Benchmark CLB levels). The majority of these classes are led by
4 i3 A: I: v. `; u6 ^, xprofessional volunteer ESL instructors and the focus is on helping new adult
' Z% P3 z5 m$ b! P9 UCanadians learn a second language.# ~' y- w+ ~& y% ?( h) e

developmental courses in the afternoon, such as Communication Skills and

In order to register, all potential students must take our placement test -
9 D" F" D8 f# `' Fno appointment necessary. Please, allow yourself at least one hour to
