BS of Computer engineer. Some embedded software (firmware, BSP etc) experiences.8 years change 6 companies. last 2 years as contractor.

Interview 1: by manager and technical leader
& Q, A. u# f2 _! l; Y-Many technical questions. I gave answers ok.6 a' S9 ]! U' ~
-Other questions:; j. ^5 `' T; ]7 u! O; q/ q' B$ {/ s9 u
Manager asked me 5 times why I changed job so frequently. I said the companies did not work out as expected. So I need keep update (make a change)for my future carreer (development).

Finally, manager asked me if I had any questions. As I did not prepare very well. I just asked what project was going on and the current progress.

After the interview, I did not get any feedback.

The manager and team lead gave me technical phone interviews. After the interview, the manager told me HR would contact me.2 p+ E2 E% ?4 f0 @

One week later HR manager phone interviewed (interviewed me on the phone).HR asked me what is my current salary (what my current salary was). I said: I am more interesting(interested) in the project.! e% Z6 W0 C2 {' F3 l; s
5 k: F, e/ M- S; jHR insisted to ask (on asking) me how much money I (would) prefer.I said, the company should have the salary range. I am ok with it as I am more interesting (interested) in (the) company.

HR asked how much I made now (currently).I said I am current(ly) on a contract which was not perm salary. HR asked me (for) the hour rate. I gave him the answer(my current hour rate - $20)., z) j6 z2 L/ y. e6 ~1 |

HR asked why I immigrated to Canada not USA. I thought it was a trick question. So I gave him my answer: I did not know how to immegrate to USA. As USA has many good company like your company. If I knew (had known)how to immegrate to USA, I would do it (have done so) instead of canada." C! e5 S' E' Q5 j% M

One hour later, I got a reject email!- Y$ o$ h. g0 H. y/ ?6 A

What wemt wrong?
