8 R, r) S) k& b. t+ GPosition Overview: Under minimal supervision, work as a technologist in a startup biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) in Edmonton. Responsible for the execution of experiments in a laboratory using well-established techniques. Other duties include routine lab maintenance and assist with ordering.

9 }. m$ v6 g& f6 e! gSkills and Abilities Required
1 J/ v1 c! l" U" \/ E( I$ WExtensive experience in mammalian cell culture is required, in particular high-throughput or large-scale environment.
( T+ T# m7 l" Q& B' O
: F$ \9 |* h5 s( ]: J" q4 v/ V' aPractical knowledge of common molecular biology techniques is desirable, particularly in PCR, plasmid construction, DNA sequence analysis and western blotting.
$ i# d1 R3 a$ E; w
Have good record keeping habits and abilities, suitable to maintain accurate and complete records.

; k5 x+ I8 {- D( FAbility to precisely follow written and verbal directions.

Previous industrial working experience is a great asset.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor or Master degree in cell biology, biochemistry or other related areas.
