ATGCell Inc., a spin-off biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) of the
University of Alberta, is focusing on the production and service of
7 \  e7 o) x# {recombinant proteins and stable cell lines. To further develop our
technology, we are currently seeking a highly-motivated researcher with
strong track record in molecular and/or cellular biology and willingness
5 l& ]+ f! H, L% ato apply for government funding with us.

Qualified candidates should have a PhD or MS degree within 5 years or will
obtain one within 2-3 months, in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or a
$ V+ m% b0 B8 xrelated field. Extensive experience in protein expression and purification
7 U# w) e' L6 d' d- z! _0 Qfrom bacterial or eukaryotic sources, and/or in mammalian cell culture, is
) F( z# `- F1 a: _5 }required. Familiarity with recombinant DNA techniques, including PCR, DNA
cloning and mutagenesis is also required. Prior experience in protein
over-expression in insect cells/yeast, or large-scale protein purification
is a good plus. The position requires excellent organizational skills with
$ Y( h# I  h' g9 y4 G6 P8 Rthe ability to work independently and multi-tasked along with keeping
  j: ]0 v1 J$ H4 L) |% G9 I" H% vaccurate and complete research records.

This position is conditional to a successful application of external
