烤蛋糕
INGREDIENTS:

• 1 cup sugar
0 Y- }0 ?) T2 d8 l% H0 M• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (if you like the flavor, otherwise, none)
8 S0 `, k% {7 l/ \• 1 1/2 cups sifted flour or all purpose flour (former is better)
+ Z- O, u. o' Q• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder 8 I3 m2 M, `% d+ H
• 4 eggs, well beaten

PREPARATION:
0 _5 `0 i. Z9 wBeat butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Sift together the dry ingredients; add to cream mixture alternately with beaten eggs, beating well after each addition. 0 P0 ~, V! o3 l& C3 o
Turn into greased and floured 8-inch tube pan or 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan. $ Y" o+ P) z8 g8 l
Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes in the pan then turn out onto a cake rack. Cool and glaze or frost as desired. Store tightly covered.

这是yellow cake,我最喜欢的,又简单。ingredients 我一般比较严格执行,否则变味,但是我通常要把糖的用量减至3/4到2/3,洋人用糖量太大,太甜了。但如果你认为cake mix的甜度适合你的口味,就用上述的量。

检查是否烤熟的办法: 用牙签插一下cake中间,若没有什么粘在牙签上就熟了。 |
