烤蛋糕
INGREDIENTS:

+ K5 W: c+ ], K% {• 1 cup sugar
! K# g, b* U; B% M' @9 x• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (if you like the flavor, otherwise, none)
4 H* D/ I7 J6 q: B5 C1 V+ n) ^3 q• 1 1/2 cups sifted flour or all purpose flour (former is better)

• 4 eggs, well beaten3 L$ O5 b0 h. D9 b1 i. D

Beat butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Sift together the dry ingredients; add to cream mixture alternately with beaten eggs, beating well after each addition. ( X* D+ q! a. G1 B
Turn into greased and floured 8-inch tube pan or 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan. , m# A# h( K- T) c2 ] G: q
Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes in the pan then turn out onto a cake rack. Cool and glaze or frost as desired. Store tightly covered.

这是yellow cake,我最喜欢的,又简单。ingredients 我一般比较严格执行,否则变味,但是我通常要把糖的用量减至3/4到2/3,洋人用糖量太大,太甜了。但如果你认为cake mix的甜度适合你的口味,就用上述的量。

检查是否烤熟的办法: 用牙签插一下cake中间,若没有什么粘在牙签上就熟了。 |
