Community Services requires individuals to provide quality customer service to the public at community leisure centres across the City. As a Recreation Facility Attendant you will:

Collect fee and admission charges.& Q7 r6 A# K; D, X+ G

Complete daily cash deposits.' u, u' I; N. u% A& f& _

Handle customer inquires by phone and in person.

Register patrons in programs.

Perform basic administrative duties including word processing, data entry and generating inventory reports.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Completion of the twelfth (12th) school grade with emphasis on general office practice or completion of an appropriate certificate program from an approved school/college.1 Z1 D" }+ F2 C( E0 d9 l% b! k% d

Some experience in customer service, cash handling, and computer applications.0 l; f( V# ^0 M' a. |5 X

Possession of current Standard First Aid and CPR certification is required prior to commencement of employment.( U9 P! P. S2 ~; E

Assets: Customer service training and familiarity with a variety of computer software programs, including point of sale, registration software and other facility related computerized equipment. In addition, knowledge and experience in the fitness industry.
  P( I* }0 L' L7 y% zNote: A security clearance is a condition of employment. The successful candidate will be required to obtain a Security Clearance letter from the Edmonton Police Department. 7 b5 B, Y0 R# M( C

( M5 p3 ^( C/ h: ?' F/ iUp to 30 hours per week, Sunday to Saturday. Early morning, evening and weekends may be required.% s+ Q7 c1 y% H9 G' ~, T+ C. p. h
Shifts vary based on facility operating hours,
5:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

21B, Salary Grade: 003, $14.55 - $17.97 (Hourly). The rates quoted are in accordance with a collective agreement between the Union and the City of Edmonton.: G: C1 d4 {- h1 n; g; Y
