FUNCTIONS:
! y" I- q: c! E+ I% y4 ]Community Services requires individuals to provide quality customer service to the public at community leisure centres across the City. As a Recreation Facility Attendant you will:

Collect fee and admission charges.

Complete daily cash deposits.

Handle customer inquires by phone and in person.

Sell sundry items, prepare a daily deposit, keep daily attendance records and enter statistical data.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:, j. c6 [, z  u% d

Completion of the twelfth (12th) school grade with emphasis on general office practice or completion of an appropriate certificate program from an approved school/college.

Some experience in customer service, cash handling, and computer applications.; Y7 i9 R6 i. e2 |/ \' C

Possession of current Standard First Aid and CPR certification is required prior to commencement of employment.

Assets: Customer service training and familiarity with a variety of computer software programs, including point of sale, registration software and other facility related computerized equipment. In addition, knowledge and experience in the fitness industry.

' H/ Y- S' Z7 [* JHOURS OF WORK:
0 `! S! a( L( \6 X% }9 Y4 ]$ _Up to 30 hours per week, Sunday to Saturday. Early morning, evening and weekends may be required.; B) w- w) x6 y( M. ^
Shifts vary based on facility operating hours,
5:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

SALARYRANGE:8 F4 m" Y- i' H  {0 j2 \
21B, Salary Grade: 003, $14.55 - $17.97 (Hourly). The rates quoted are in accordance with a collective agreement between the Union and the City of Edmonton.; v  h# E$ T- e9 s
