  的装饰，却可以尽情秀出自己的风采、个性、特点。我们靠的是一份热情，凭

2 i* Q! k, B  s# @' ~The Chinese Students and Scholars Association (CSSA) at the University
of Alberta will be holding a Spring Festival Evening Party around the
; e/ ?$ n- U& X  K, t& } eve of Chinese lunar New Year to add the diverse community Chinese
cultural activities. This event is not only a reminder of food, fun and
customs, but also a very good opportunity to wipe out our homesickness on
+ K' H( m0 U) L1 x6 t* p  Y this broad land.
+ r. O- {2 l- ]: c
We encourage students and scholars who are interested in performance to
9 R4 p3 V8 `! | contribute to the evening party by showcasing your abilities and
3 m& J' X: ~3 m talents. Although we have no luxurious dressings and professional skills in
performing arts, the most critical point we have is our passion to show
: Z: Q) X0 P, F, I) x2 [ ourselves such as any topic related to our life and studies in
! d, a4 |" F- D Edmonton. Please come and join us to fill up the party. It’s going to be a
lot of fun, like what we did before.

As far as your prospective programs are concerned, they can be songs
9 y$ ^9 `+ U! R/ } sung by a single singer or multiple singers, song and dance (Ge Wu),
stand-up comedy (Xiang Sheng), skits (Xiao Pin), drama (Hua Ju) or any
6 S/ l' X' j) E! d  ~ performance with instruments (e.g., piano). It would be great if your
program could reflect our society. If you have a play for skits, stand-up
* G6 N7 _# a8 s1 x# l' J5 i" M  t comedy or drama to present, please contact CSSA for performance since
CSSA executives want to have a show collectively.
! ]$ [$ O# z: ?: {0 n. f2 j
7 z! G" o3 I- k# TMeanwhile, a host is needed for the evening party. Volunteers are also
on demand to work on the stage to assist lighting and audio system
control.
