First call for actors -- CSSA Evening Party for 2008 Chinese New Year

2 [; r& p7 w* A& k/ Z) i of Alberta will be holding a Spring Festival Evening Party around the. e- Y" n! o& ?" [5 d: z
eve of Chinese lunar New Year to add the diverse community Chinese% a: l' i/ W6 `/ F% z+ ~
cultural activities. This event is not only a reminder of food, fun and
. b8 j4 L8 i) Y, y2 E: k customs, but also a very good opportunity to wipe out our homesickness on& k+ ?0 _$ u/ |- @3 F" L( I# \
this broad land.- N0 F$ g7 D& p& P3 f% K
" }! l8 y, g6 f% L2 _+ K x- nWe encourage students and scholars who are interested in performance to
3 E- X6 ]3 i9 q/ K9 v2 C& ^8 M contribute to the evening party by showcasing your abilities and( B$ p4 r- v9 Y
talents. Although we have no luxurious dressings and professional skills in# O* c+ |* c# J5 q
performing arts, the most critical point we have is our passion to show% O+ t9 E4 t) o% o
ourselves such as any topic related to our life and studies in
0 W; S- v9 i) Z$ L o Edmonton. Please come and join us to fill up the party. It’s going to be a
$ w+ w c% x4 o9 G, ]1 \ lot of fun, like what we did before.

sung by a single singer or multiple singers, song and dance (Ge Wu),/ C; p0 x. O* U/ D* f: e3 v4 c
stand-up comedy (Xiang Sheng), skits (Xiao Pin), drama (Hua Ju) or any4 S& e7 P* _# k% T7 ^) a2 P* v# _
performance with instruments (e.g., piano). It would be great if your
8 n5 s, J& n5 H& } program could reflect our society. If you have a play for skits, stand-up" ?. p* Q# {7 _' D
comedy or drama to present, please contact CSSA for performance since3 ]' n N% ?% W
CSSA executives want to have a show collectively.

( h; X) _$ T) WMeanwhile, a host is needed for the evening party. Volunteers are also2 Y+ ~4 T# Z$ m- k5 p. m
on demand to work on the stage to assist lighting and audio system7 }/ {6 z6 r. `. S
