• responsible for recruitment, selection, training and performance appraisal and termination of staff

• overall management of all agency projects/programs and services

• prepare, complete and submit all program proposals including budgets and reports to the funders and key stakeholders- n$ J. n7 f6 [/ ]- l2 ^& c2 [+ v
• set program priorities and directions ! m+ e* s0 ]& a7 V( n
• identify community and user needs and trends* d2 t) s. b `$ [" \6 ]( l4 x f
• implement and monitor programs and community activities to meet identified needs and trends! P- b0 z/ [9 M1 J3 p" J
• conduct program evaluation/survey/research: V6 ?8 `5 }/ d. E" o) X
• maintenance of appropriate reporting

• build on knowledge of community resources in program development

• build, maintain strong relationships with all levels of governments, businesses, community groups, public & funders

• identify community needs and trends9 ?) m0 s' ^. C' w: M! W5 L& \
• coordinate and monitor significant programs through liaison/partnership with other community groups
4 Q; G' |7 x5 J" e. B- i• advocate, educate, promote cross-cultural respect & understanding of immigrants, visible minorities & other at risk or multi-risks groups1 S' r) h# u) ]
• work with community and social agencies/groups to raise awareness of systemic issues affecting people from a broad socio-economic spectrum to social policy makers and to lobby for social changes in society, legislation and systems.

- University degree in a related field; 4 G1 F6 U/ P- k3 B4 q
- Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit / voluntary organization;' a. W: M* q( h( I7 t( C& f' p; V
- Knowledge of human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management; ' }! E0 ~' A9 J# Z; w
- 2 or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization 0 u( S' H! X2 u& S$ @
