Praetorian Construction Management is a Project Management firm specializing in Construction Management for the Mining Industry in Western Canada. We are seeking full time Civil and Mechanical Engineers, Field Engineers, Commissioning Engineers/Specialists and Construction Superintendents for our projects currently underway at the Diavik Diamond mines in the NWT. The project is camp based with a two week in and two weeks off site schedule.

Quantity Progress monitoring of the contractors and reporting

Participation in the management of the Site Safety Systems

Coordination between construction and the mine operating groups

Monitor schedules

Similar to the Underground Construction Superintendent, the Civil Construction Superintendent is responsible to oversee all construction activities in the mine surface civil operations

+ k/ ~& J2 ^! C6 P- W; H) tThe company provides you flights between Edmonton and the mine, and food and accommodation in the mine. You work 2 weeks and take 2 weeks off. So virtually you only work less than 6 month a year. Depending on your qualifications, your income is about 60,000 to 100,000 a year plus benefit and 8%-12% bonus. You can buy up to 3 carats diamond per year when you work at the mine at discount price (about 1/3 of retail price). Please go to www.diavik.com for more info about the mine.
