JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.

: m  `5 m& e- m( K* ~ DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

5 g* {" D) }6 X5 }2 B1)  Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen area.

2)  Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.

2 v+ S* q1 }- O( p  m! J0 w3)  Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as per Capital Health standards.

5 j. P4 c; W4 a$ S4)  Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services operating hours.

8 W$ n3 I  x6 X5) Serve as cashier when required.

# d0 S0 G: x' k$ T# p" ]6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- b! v. S$ S# ?# F- G  ]
1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe food handling and storage techniques.

2) Cashier experience.
; l  H# y4 ~; Q: i! Q
% D3 G" v9 P; J1 O3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

8 {' _  Z/ ~( C  {  h4 Q2 F" w- i/ k5) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
