JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
0 r) o& I  B2 e0 x' c
1)  Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen area.

2)  Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.

0 Y1 c& b9 u) D+ J- n3)  Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as per Capital Health standards.

3 j3 u/ g' M5 e, j4 m6 E: E3 w4)  Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services operating hours.

5) Serve as cashier when required.

8 j& o  q  p' n5 R* t6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.

QUALIFICATIONS:

9 K2 r( A. `9 v5 T$ ]1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe food handling and storage techniques.

2) Cashier experience.
4 g4 W  x( u2 e& S: z* l: l$ V3 q
3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.
8 v4 v& z0 F  \8 x, R% c# k
4 i* R* N! I* o+ [- o+ r4) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

5) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
