JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.

: T" z+ R+ L& e4 k DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

' [7 p/ `  h, L; J3 ^8 h1)  Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen area.
) O$ W0 Q. s; t* v; V
2)  Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.
; }, f  h, H( J- f
9 u, Z. x# g0 q1 J3)  Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as per Capital Health standards.
( g6 O0 M' N, X: N* O& W% F/ N
4)  Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services operating hours.

, w: c% ]( M) q5) Serve as cashier when required.

3 ]. N7 Z+ z# ]% r6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.

QUALIFICATIONS:
4 T# V0 @! C1 \1 H9 G: r9 c) Z) Y
1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe food handling and storage techniques.

2) Cashier experience.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

; L* n7 G  q0 D4) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

5) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
