JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1)  Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen area.
+ X1 k; {% a# g8 s, E: l* j* {
2)  Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.
# p+ x% U5 c! O; N4 Z/ n+ U9 ]% {
9 B: Q! }( [& j4 h3)  Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as per Capital Health standards.
8 D' v6 T# f* F+ Y+ c2 k( S
0 x9 x3 A# |5 x7 i& g4)  Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services operating hours.

6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.

QUALIFICATIONS:
; S& d$ U8 n! y7 k: x/ a
1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe food handling and storage techniques.
4 N) m/ R- f! V! w
  Q/ O+ o" e- N3 c- z- Z2) Cashier experience.
, X' y( ^' Q  D8 t7 j) N9 |! v
9 V9 J+ U" c2 H7 Z7 {3 E  Y6 y3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

5) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
