After I came to Edmonton, I celebrated Canada Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Halloween and Remembrance Day. All of them are interesting for me, but the most interesting holiday is Halloween.

When I came home with the candies, my wife told me that there were not enough, so I went to Safeway again and bought more candies.

October 31st was Halloween. I got up very early that day. My wife cooked chicken which I was going to bring to class for a potluck. My child was very happy because she had already waited for this day for a long time.+ Z1 U, O9 W! p' c" d" M
In the afternoon, we had a potluck in the class. Yuong Sook, a Korean girl, made some sushi which looked very beautiful. Chun Yuan, a Chinese girl, cooked some bouilli which tasted very delicious. Of course my wife cooked the best food because they were clear off.% O) N! |5 c' V |- w( `, m4 [. ^
After lunch, we had a party in the student center. Many students put make up on their faces and wore some strange clothing. They were singing and dancing there. What a happy day!

My child went out with a bag. My wife and I stayed at home to wait for the children. To my surprise, only three children came to my home, and I was left with many candies.: _) Y) d+ `! |8 S, _
One hour later, my child came back with a full bag. “Dad,” She said, “My bag is full. I have many candies now. What an interesting day!”; t4 E0 q7 ]9 L5 }
“You are right, my child.” I said, “Halloween is the most interesting holiday in Canada, I think.” |
