enthusiastic about research on Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) systems
( b! N7 f  |  Pand circuits at Memorial University of Newfoundland, NL, Canada.
+ R4 M5 v2 j0 @. }, w" P  }Potential projects are in areas of VLSI computer-aided design and analog/digital
integrated system/circuit design.

The qualified applicants will meet the following conditions:
! \4 Q  W1 T  D% a4 N$ O# U(a) Master’s or B.S. degree, background in microelectronics, computer engineering, electronics, electrical engineering, computer science, or related areas.
0 x# ~2 J" W4 i3 L' F3 [(b) GPA 3.2/4.0 (80% if percentage grades used) or better.
: F/ O  h* Z2 w* Q(c) TOEFL: paper-based score of 550 (or higher)/computer-based score of 213 (or higher).
(d) A keen interest in algorithm design or circuit/system design.
