Hi, there

Good news. U of A plan to stop increase tuition for students who are recently in U of A. However, they will increase tuition the current students who will go to U of A next year. Sounds fair. I deeply agree.

Yesterday, the Academic Planning Committee of the General Faculties : t+ M/ S/ ~- T" T) Q# b+ I/ u

news to report from that meeting.

First, the good news. The committee decided to grandfather all current ' ^3 E6 P" b6 x* D: K
undergraduate international students from the increase to the ( h/ A# C$ R% u+ \
differential fee. This means that next year, all current international

Now, the bad news. The motion that the committee approved called for an ( \# m. Q3 R* Q8 z
increase in the international undergraduate differential from 157% to i4 f7 E9 L7 j: Z: s
220%. This will mean that all new international undergraduate students 1 ~+ r) K" O+ _5 m) e7 G% E( D
