JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Senior Operations Manager- " s/ C) t% D( _
SU Print Centre and Operations Manager-Production & Technical
. X* u2 U/ a7 K k3 q4 ~" wSupport, these positions are responsible for assisting in all aspects ; ?( B+ T3 k$ x/ a; y! i
of Course Pack production.* T0 _! N" ?( D; d8 A2 ?
! T/ j: h& i! E! X `6 _8 ?; ~DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:1 a# b0 ?& C6 D; [
1) To assist in the creation of course packs, including the scanning 2 h$ l5 }( h! I% p7 e% G! n
of paper files, editing of digital files, proofing and printing.+ v% {) B; r Y* r6 h
6 a1 |( p$ k) J U/ |+ T- O
2) To develop a good working knowledge of print equipment, including 4 C. ] e. h4 b2 R
print queue, paper loading, toner and technical troubleshooting.

- I- i- q7 T6 [$ l8 Q6 [: s3) To assist with all aspects of bindery, packing and shipping of % f1 m3 d6 w& o* l
course packs. This includes following operational procedures and : E4 T# H/ A+ h0 H* r
keeping appropriate and accurate records.% @6 O8 Z9 r: q: M4 t k# w9 u
" P* C; q0 A- e+ s4) To communicate stock needs and printing and bindery equipment

5) To develop a working knowledge of Access Copyright requirements, ; F$ c' c! A' @( u) G5 g+ V

QUALIFICATIONS:
* N# ~* {6 m1 A1 H* a8 a1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
j# z2 l. g3 K9 o2) Attention to details. Excellent organizational and communication ; }8 W% [3 f6 Y/ ^
skills.

3) A good working knowledge of Windows would be helpful.

4) An aptitude for technical problem determination and resolution.2 G; g5 ]4 f" Y$ d+ b* J# u

5) Ability to work in high stress environment.
