JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Senior Operations Manager-
3 j) t2 o# z& f& `) B; J* s+ wSU Print Centre and Operations Manager-Production & Technical
+ z, y h4 n6 SSupport, these positions are responsible for assisting in all aspects
, w% [* B$ x/ n/ ]$ uof Course Pack production.: i" ~/ |) [. f' d; Q$ ]
' O X# q+ C+ |* N& [/ K. ?% jDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
3 n; R3 t! |8 }9 ]1 k$ i1) To assist in the creation of course packs, including the scanning 5 o# L& O$ C# u# P8 n
of paper files, editing of digital files, proofing and printing.* r6 ?' \$ C2 o7 O6 i, o! ^
; h# T" O4 a% T& }- e2) To develop a good working knowledge of print equipment, including
r! P! p4 b( ~print queue, paper loading, toner and technical troubleshooting.

" m ?0 d2 z; L; k! Y" H7 K& j- R3) To assist with all aspects of bindery, packing and shipping of ! d8 p% n+ b, P2 Q0 k
course packs. This includes following operational procedures and 0 z, z P( k* U' A0 \
keeping appropriate and accurate records.

4) To communicate stock needs and printing and bindery equipment

5) To develop a working knowledge of Access Copyright requirements,

QUALIFICATIONS:# P8 f& o# W9 H0 V: i) M
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
; Q% \2 v: {* f% u# c2) Attention to details. Excellent organizational and communication - W5 j; @/ X; w( G
skills.
+ n. ^& f( d* S# k2 r( j6 ?: o
8 X2 m, J9 Q2 C7 m1 M" ^( w3) A good working knowledge of Windows would be helpful. V7 \6 x: L) J1 }, X
& H& l* a- D: a
4) An aptitude for technical problem determination and resolution.

5) Ability to work in high stress environment.

Shifts: Monday-Saturdays 7am-12pm; 12pm-5pm; 5pm-10pm
