Support, these positions are responsible for assisting in all aspects . E- z$ O8 G% W7 l! I1 v1 i
of Course Pack production.& B1 k5 q8 Y( z) x2 F

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:8 s+ s- ~2 @8 h
1) To assist in the creation of course packs, including the scanning % P- [% R7 ]8 e# S- n1 H' Y0 W
of paper files, editing of digital files, proofing and printing.* F; H( D9 {/ v- }; d
5 n1 k3 A+ t8 ^3 d+ O
2) To develop a good working knowledge of print equipment, including
; K' \) N/ k! K( s2 R2 {print queue, paper loading, toner and technical troubleshooting.; J5 y+ i. L* g2 M1 H
7 @. }2 M' n7 m, T9 Y3) To assist with all aspects of bindery, packing and shipping of $ N3 @- ~! A" q% F1 v
course packs. This includes following operational procedures and ' g, _5 O$ y- w7 }9 @6 R
keeping appropriate and accurate records.

4) To communicate stock needs and printing and bindery equipment
0 S# g0 w( B; J0 {failures to the Operations Manager.

5) To develop a working knowledge of Access Copyright requirements,
# T( n7 ]" `" ?and adhere to regulations as appropriate.: d' G; }. E- N

QUALIFICATIONS:# j5 G# s2 e' b* g( Q
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
: ^( G5 o* L7 b2) Attention to details. Excellent organizational and communication 7 H2 W$ j: L5 U! |6 H
skills.

/ L! r0 \1 F! g" p6 b, Y* U6 E3) A good working knowledge of Windows would be helpful.

4) An aptitude for technical problem determination and resolution.

6) Experience in print industry an asset but not necessary.
