JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Senior Operations Manager- & D# L. W8 n$ F" @. K
SU Print Centre and Operations Manager-Production & Technical 3 J+ S+ T' t# O e7 \% h8 s
Support, these positions are responsible for assisting in all aspects
& Y5 Q ~( N. Z1 D5 N- ~of Course Pack production.

3 p; a+ ]) U* t8 ]DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* d. C9 S2 e! a! J+ b0 K
1) To assist in the creation of course packs, including the scanning
1 w; p$ I( x3 o% Q+ F3 hof paper files, editing of digital files, proofing and printing. W. P5 E* y% a' M. ?; O. @3 v
4 i/ @ ]) F$ q* q6 e {
2) To develop a good working knowledge of print equipment, including
0 \2 \& }# ]$ E: L. Nprint queue, paper loading, toner and technical troubleshooting.
$ k% P* @) i% ]* b) e* l, A3 ~' n. R3 V6 u
3) To assist with all aspects of bindery, packing and shipping of
4 l! k5 z3 d6 z: @" jcourse packs. This includes following operational procedures and
' y$ ^7 c4 G/ u8 E5 bkeeping appropriate and accurate records.7 M8 O5 s# L+ S- R2 ?4 [0 \

4) To communicate stock needs and printing and bindery equipment / Z/ L2 T$ T9 z" R) [! w
failures to the Operations Manager.' q1 k/ @/ x% a( t% G

5) To develop a working knowledge of Access Copyright requirements,
0 f. z* h8 L+ ]) ?0 C' Tand adhere to regulations as appropriate.

6) To contribute positively to a cooperative working environment.

2) Attention to details. Excellent organizational and communication

2 @1 c! W: ~! {( C7 a/ |6 M0 i9 u$ C3) A good working knowledge of Windows would be helpful.0 b$ A7 }; S6 H* J8 |) X; w

4) An aptitude for technical problem determination and resolution.

5) Ability to work in high stress environment.

6) Experience in print industry an asset but not necessary.
