management administrator to support our Data Hub application and the move to a data-centric information model.

Investment Administration Division provides comprehensive back-office support services for Alberta Investment
Management and various other government departments and agencies encompassing assets under management in excess
7 I0 `& u. q* x/ xof $70billion. As the Data Hub Administrator, you will utilize your strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-
making skills to perform ongoing assessments and reviews to validate HUB data. Based on your assessments, you will
( c- M, h+ `% I  i3 @$ Rcoordinate the release and distribution of HUB data reports each day to various end users and clients. As our Data HUB
evolves through several phases, clients will expect you to keep pace with all new developments.


" O/ C( o( d. m" I1 dData management activities are characterized by due diligence and a meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that HUB
referential data is complete, accurate and accessible on a timely basis. To expedite HUB database readiness, flexible hours
9 `; o8 [0 S! g$ L, b3 @7 F2 yof work with an early start time will be a requirement of the position. A special work hour provision applies with a
+ }/ |' \. g+ o: }daily start time in the range of 4:00am to 6:00 am, commencing after initial training is completed.

Qualifications – Completion of a diploma in Computing Science supplemented by 4 years progressively responsible data
% R4 {% ^. q" {0 b2 i: k, u: Omanagement experience. Finance and/or investment knowledge is preferred. The ideal candidate will have formal
' Y% |- F, _4 _( _  Heducation in Computing and Finance. Completion of the Canadian Securities Course and some familiarity with SQL
5 m% x4 f/ e* f: y8 n" g- ?would be considered assets. Equivalencies will be considered.

Candidates with lesser qualifications may be considered at a lower level. This competition may be used to fill future

Salary: $55,512- $ 76,236

NOTE: This is a temporary salaried position expiring on or before March 31, 2008. Final candidates for this position will
be asked to undergo a security screening.
