2 Z" h& f: h. P) n7 h2 z' qBe Your Own Busker (ATB Big Top): Work with creative people who will teach patrons to juggle and
- G6 |$ s [9 i% u0 v ywork the Diablo, play in a band and lots of other fun stuff. Duties include, helping at artist circles, craft3 L) a) q1 r9 B- [9 }
prep, door person, stagehand, and clean up.
, r9 x/ k0 G m* aChalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the
4 V/ Y, R2 r4 P% ^! U0 Qartist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come., A5 ?: W7 B5 f' r8 w
Environment: We need lots of volunteers to help ensure that the Square is kept looking beautiful for. A% G2 y5 e: s! f+ E( ~$ c: H
visitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the% @, W5 U* w' f5 p/ |' y7 L# \
recyclables.# J& q! T3 o8 x1 |1 b9 `4 b2 q' C7 `
Front of House: If you are well organized, like people, and can handle line up control and questions, be
, U. i9 N5 A/ C; g5 s; epart of the door crew for our three indoor theatre events. You must be able to work late into the evening.6 i/ y! m2 t/ i5 f6 n
Hospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing8 i0 S' g( W3 n) I U. P
them with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late9 e( u! p$ e" a* q
hours are part of this crew’s duties.
$ r: \( _, I6 B: @+ U6 k% H' Y" cInformation: Inside the Info trailer, volunteers on this crew know everything there is to know about the
: k K7 [3 I- g8 F }7 Pfestival - who, what, when where and how is their business. They also sell merchandise and provide
+ V, V' _( s; g g$ Zprograms to visitors to the festival./ J7 m; N; \9 G$ ]
Kids’ World: Enjoy some time entertaining the wee folks. Activities and games will be provided for, g7 Z5 m7 B! D' D( O3 ^ b" f4 C
everyone coming to this area. Help our creative coordinators make this place an enjoyable experience.
+ ]' s- w7 ~. S4 MOffice: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed, a1 N/ o( q/ P; s1 E4 J& {
events and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the- }8 c$ k% n! G! X5 c1 f! w
festival./ _' e& b |: j
Site: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is8 ^8 J* A9 N" W
operating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you
8 `8 w2 J: ?2 t! ware physically fit and ready for any emergency.$ H( ], M4 V/ X
Stage: All volunteers who are helping with any theatrical productions must have some previous training
! X+ m) u: Q; W* c1 \and/or understanding of back stage procedures.# E9 Z1 B5 d1 ]+ f, z
Transportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be
: s& B9 ]; p) Y) \required), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as
8 T) Z& j! [0 X2 U' _9 H3 ]airport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival3 q$ N" E. B1 b% L8 C1 k
staff and artists may require. A good knowledge of the city is required. |
