Be Your Own Busker (ATB Big Top): Work with creative people who will teach patrons to juggle and
3 m! m# s& J& u1 s/ {/ Jwork the Diablo, play in a band and lots of other fun stuff. Duties include, helping at artist circles, craft
$ o1 s2 X( |9 @7 F9 q% o- L# B% \prep, door person, stagehand, and clean up.
" j+ d( Y0 `8 b' pChalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the% i& l- ^: K; }4 e
artist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come.* j. I6 K# ^0 M' p0 @; p
Environment: We need lots of volunteers to help ensure that the Square is kept looking beautiful for
1 V; f {& U4 Y7 p( d! [' s* Jvisitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the
, n7 E3 f6 O* b8 x& @" brecyclables. b3 a, w B8 J. Y; T @8 }. j
Front of House: If you are well organized, like people, and can handle line up control and questions, be
, e+ N1 c8 w7 M: Y# V, S- N+ mpart of the door crew for our three indoor theatre events. You must be able to work late into the evening." B$ |- L E/ |( A
Hospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing5 R2 b9 P2 ^+ E3 b0 E3 `( y
them with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late; O8 V2 p8 N0 u7 b! Q
hours are part of this crew’s duties.! D9 u4 ~& [5 j8 d2 X
Information: Inside the Info trailer, volunteers on this crew know everything there is to know about the
- b' }6 ~; U& i: ]) B. Ufestival - who, what, when where and how is their business. They also sell merchandise and provide

+ X. i/ N* j9 s1 bKids’ World: Enjoy some time entertaining the wee folks. Activities and games will be provided for
# l) X( ~, I. y) s2 T4 u3 eeveryone coming to this area. Help our creative coordinators make this place an enjoyable experience.
- x8 \- A. n0 }' B vOffice: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed/ h' H: P: ~; s1 @- u& \
events and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the' I2 c, m2 c# }5 k1 }3 ~
festival.7 H, R' V' C" \6 ~3 z
Site: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is! t F) Q4 ?! ?
operating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you0 f7 P: b$ Y/ I0 H
are physically fit and ready for any emergency.
0 L. R9 k% r% C$ s0 u2 l+ n! I9 ZStage: All volunteers who are helping with any theatrical productions must have some previous training
* W( S8 p A* X( v7 cand/or understanding of back stage procedures.
# M7 Q$ u; i* K: O3 k; @Transportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be
6 z& G* z' A. g0 f/ F" Crequired), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as& I8 T- j X K- A8 x* J$ C
airport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival
* ]7 B7 g! r bstaff and artists may require. A good knowledge of the city is required. |
