festival.
0 c1 N0 j0 M( h9 }+ KBe Your Own Busker (ATB Big Top): Work with creative people who will teach patrons to juggle and# l5 ^& F8 w6 i. b! S9 {( i+ t8 j
work the Diablo, play in a band and lots of other fun stuff. Duties include, helping at artist circles, craft/ a: \! }- }3 \- S4 i
prep, door person, stagehand, and clean up.
& L- f# e& L- x1 A2 qChalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the; r8 g2 R5 C3 W/ B3 H8 a
artist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come.& [* ], q. H1 ~2 A
Environment: We need lots of volunteers to help ensure that the Square is kept looking beautiful for
& J. w5 }) e* f- ]# z" F) x s2 fvisitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the
) |4 p- Q9 @- J; S8 U% h) a8 Rrecyclables.
) B1 v, {6 l5 t3 r. Z) E0 C: lFront of House: If you are well organized, like people, and can handle line up control and questions, be `) p6 S& J6 @2 @1 M2 m
part of the door crew for our three indoor theatre events. You must be able to work late into the evening.: f$ A* Z5 v. ~; p
Hospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing
7 S! ^% {( d! |9 o2 F( V, mthem with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late
# V' W! W( H1 Z5 shours are part of this crew’s duties.
' P1 ^3 B* R, ?4 z9 M& X' OInformation: Inside the Info trailer, volunteers on this crew know everything there is to know about the
$ H4 E0 y8 ^: w7 [6 r5 Nfestival - who, what, when where and how is their business. They also sell merchandise and provide
$ i- i/ _" U; ]0 k% q7 O" o0 g) `programs to visitors to the festival.0 [! T7 s2 L' q9 T) a* b
Kids’ World: Enjoy some time entertaining the wee folks. Activities and games will be provided for
7 ?4 k$ g4 s4 c4 P4 `everyone coming to this area. Help our creative coordinators make this place an enjoyable experience.
: w+ l: f U& HOffice: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed8 x! [* Q1 n6 y$ h& I% \
events and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the

/ q# f# p9 W3 E: Z) }/ D$ X3 g8 G1 cSite: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is
7 B1 g* [9 z8 H. Y B) Zoperating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you0 [; |6 j; n6 }4 r3 [6 |
are physically fit and ready for any emergency.
; s# G3 e; E- ^! yStage: All volunteers who are helping with any theatrical productions must have some previous training* o( @8 e3 l# h4 v
and/or understanding of back stage procedures.
! C+ D9 H- G p! |Transportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be% }% J P9 t2 x8 ~
required), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as. J8 M( x5 J1 A6 {0 O# C/ b; {
airport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival
# A ?4 P& _6 X/ E2 m5 _4 v3 istaff and artists may require. A good knowledge of the city is required. |
