JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker I is responsible to the Senior  
Operations Manager-Food Services and Operations Manager-RATT.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;

1 ^2 \& o1 l  d8 E( ~% F1) Assist with Food preparation and cooking as required.
$ `8 e5 e  T) E8 `3 ^# N3 C
3 r4 ?3 u) `$ J0 H$ m  k2) Cleanliness of all areas and supplies and equipment.
. F# _# T$ p+ F0 }1 I) q
) I+ j' Y- ?! F& @9 i. Y5 N3) To follow the health and food safety standards as set out by  
Capital Health and the U of A Students´ Union.

4) Monitor food product levels, order, receive and store food  
- Q* ^9 `5 V8 L  u2 Bdeliveries.

1 f0 p* m$ ?" ]1 t" g  A5) Assist with monthly food inventory.

6) Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating  
, Y. l$ B' m' Ashifts within Powerplant operating hours.

& _# o7 e% F9 Z6 [7) To perform other related duties as directed by the Operations  
Manager.

5 P. \0 q2 p+ X) RQUALIFICATIONS;
& ^& |& A+ K& k8 \- \3 Z
( e" h! Q  j' q1 Z- g0 u2 B1) Thorough knowledge of food handling and storage techniques.

2) Previous experience with food inventories.
& d* t" {4 D) U0 M
0 k/ U/ w) i0 _# L- d$ J4) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

5) Good public and staff relations.

August 21st 2006/Union Position

Wage: $8.96/hr (under negotiation) + gratuities + 50% discount on  
meals purchased for shift breaks

Shift: Friday Lunches 11:30am-3pm
