JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior  
Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will  
assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.
) O$ f0 u$ z' h1 b3 h9 O( a
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;
1)              Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display  
food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen  
  b5 u. @' J! f2 ^1 jarea.

2) Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public  
" p7 V! _# A8 @; zclients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.
' m; R$ H# ~3 k& J, D
4 X: v" T9 Z* H3)              Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as  
per Capital Health standards.

4)              Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to  
' J4 V( n+ o! f8 r9 H0 Q* Vwork rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services  
operating hours.

5) Serve as cashier when required.

6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior  
Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.

QUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe  
food handling and storage techniques.

1 E5 W  V; ]% q2)              Some cooking/baking experience.

3) Cashier experience.
' K5 O6 ?- Q$ l6 n5 M
+ k3 E1 [, ?2 O9 p2 n4) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

7 S# ^' `1 s3 {/ p3 B" ^$ c. Y5) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.
; @' ]. C: `6 K8 ~* w- U
! f) w4 g  k5 P5 Q6) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
# D, X- D' A/ z5 l; KMarch 11th 2005 /Union Position

Wage: $8.24/hr + 50% discount on personal food ordered at L´Express  
to eat while on shift break
