DOORPERSON (RATT)

; b7 T% s1 J+ z. d) Z( P, ~5 LJOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
: y  n" g+ r, ?& @- ppolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
4 E( y! a, C. h  @and are University affiliated.

2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.
' u7 }% K+ |2 l# ^$ W
3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.
' M' j( l0 E0 Q' a
1 i' r, A5 r! Y5 T' H1 M6 B4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

; ~; K# R7 y. b; I3 [3 e, ^- j9 _6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

) O5 V$ M) x8 J2 S* f1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

* C5 u: N; [( S/ n+ i. _) p2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
4 h: n* `. |4 F( l, sof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

  a4 K* c" x6 p$ n9 N) Z3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities
