KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
/ i( Z- [) u+ O, d, O1 e  I, a
1.        Serve as a key business and licensing role within a cross-functional team for identification, evaluation and licensing of strategically important technologies.  
2.        Manage technology alliance activities, including the coordination of appropriate agreements’ execution, alliance negotiations, and post-deal compliance in China.  
$ o' V; D* J7 i, w1 @) F3 A3.        Develop business plan and strategy to integrate new technology into existing global research and business platforms.

PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES:
; p; i7 m6 G# X; G6 H  _
1.        MBA and/or advanced scientific degree in agricultural biotechnology related fields (such as plant molecular, cellular and developmental biology, genomics, and plant genetics, bioinformatics, etc.) are highly desirable.  
; \; `% ~9 O8 b+ s6 w- s+ W2.        Proven experience in technology identification and licensing within China, or equivalent experience with biotechnology research and commercial licensing agreements is preferred.
; g* @* ?& ^. {4 ?3.        Working knowledge of Intellectual Property policies, including Chinese and international patent regulations and procedures would be advantageous.  
! }! Y8 M& D& {" R9 {4 f7 k4.        Productive business and scientific interactions and good relationships with major biotechnology institutes in China would be advantageous.
5.        Able to work independently as well as cooperatively in a cross-functional and multi-cultural environment.  
6.        Strong written and spoken communication skills in both English and Chinese.

8.        Able to travel frequently within and outside of China.
