ACTION FOR HEALTHY COMMUNITIES (AHC) is recruiting students (preferably members of a visible minority community and/or of a Disability community) for the following summer position: Community Initiatives Documenter. We are a non-profit community development organization operating in central Edmonton. We promote community inclusion as a strategy for increasing citizenship participation and action. , K- } ?3 t! Community Initiatives Documenter8 ]. n1 R# E1 u- c; B z
The CI Documenter will contact and meet leaders of 30 Community Initiatives (mini-projects) to discuss and document their progress to date, facilitate a planning process for each CI to sustain their outcomes, and create a final document analyzing CI trends, strengths, learnings and plans.

1. Full-time college or university student, under 30 years of age before and after the position and not attending full-time classes while participating in their placement.2 s8 z/ h9 q* ?/ q$ n$ t$ j
2. Legally entitled to work according to relevant federal and provincial legislation and regulations.& x0 `4 l! P/ H$ X. ^5 u% n+ c
3. Good organizational and verbal and written communication skills.
