ACTION FOR HEALTHY COMMUNITIES (AHC) is recruiting students (preferably members of a visible minority community and/or of a Disability community) for the following summer position: Community Initiatives Documenter. We are a non-profit community development organization operating in central Edmonton. 7 p. ]4 T9 I1 `The CI Documenter will contact and meet leaders of 30 Community Initiatives (mini-projects) to discuss and document their progress to date, facilitate a planning process for each CI to sustain their outcomes, and create a final document analyzing CI trends, strengths, learnings and plans.1 }) j% v, E% z5 G6 r; R; V* d/ p

Education Background: Health Promotion, Sociology, or related Social/Human Sciences field.5 k+ L. z' t' A" N2 a! \

1. Full-time college or university student, under 30 years of age before and after the position and not attending full-time classes while participating in their placement., E3 A* X# }6 Q6 r$ B
2. Legally entitled to work according to relevant federal and provincial legislation and regulations.& r/ o1 y3 k! p H& P
3. Good organizational and verbal and written communication skills.
