JOB SUMMARY: Responsible to and under the general supervision of the
4 B- N- g8 _ w; j h* `Operations Manager, the Bartender is responsible for carrying out the

cleanliness and order in the bar.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

0 n0 j+ w; P% {2) Responsible for handling cash for the products sold, and for the
7 K* q7 D- D6 fbar and debit floats.6 F ~- Q' `( `+ k
2 j: k* a2 E7 c& z7 j. K$ ^/ U3) Opens and closes the bar - counts floats and sales at the end of
8 v8 O: A) A k. ?1 Veach shift, and upon closing.# t/ J* M, f+ @1 q- n# I7 v
' `3 H/ L" q$ E3 _( E4) Cleanliness of all areas, supplies and equipment, with particular 6 v6 n) p ~. k7 ?
attention to areas used by customers including bar counters and ! }% C% H9 ?) C8 K D# N$ H
seating, tables and chairs and surrounding floor surfaces.

5) Receives orders from suppliers, rotating stock as required in
6 a6 l0 {0 a gstorage areas. Restocks kegs, back-bar beer coolers and all alcohol 1 j" {% @/ k# y
products, serving supplies and condiments at the end of each shift.6 I |+ W9 \- u$ Z, ~

6) Supervision of staff, with particular attention to close ( m& R. B$ A! A" E- i% w
monitoring of Servers to ensure that customers consistently receive a W; s# i/ y7 ?, n: g
high level of customer service offered with a positive attitude in
" L W2 m8 G. ~( A: j- zaccordance with Students' Union policies.

" k- j7 C& ^+ a7) Training part-time staff in a manner consistent with maintaining a / q" F! M' `9 {
high standard of customer service and effective operation of the room.

3 a& V, L! I" u) m7 K+ K8 Z2) Minimum of two years experience bartending in a high-volume & l y, L# i4 _+ t
operation.

& i0 a' O. ^! S- ]3) Excellent work habits, appearance, personal hygiene and dress in

4) Good physical condition, the ability to handle full beer kegs.
