JOB SUMMARY: Responsible to and under the general supervision of the & B% n6 b$ |- y, ^7 e
Operations Manager, the Bartender is responsible for carrying out the " E$ F. V1 M1 ?" G% ~9 R: K
procedures necessary to maintain a high standard of customer service, 5 [. u$ ?+ h! _( z# T( Z. h! J6 k |
cleanliness and order in the bar.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:1 a B# u' u" i$ \) ~
1) Provides service to Servers and customers by dispensing food and
, R: h) ]1 Z% l$ Zbeverage items./ {" z% H; v) F; `4 i) ?& y
@+ K& d8 h! D4 v4 @ y9 c( `/ ^2) Responsible for handling cash for the products sold, and for the % q) M# S; _! Q1 D, Z
bar and debit floats.

3) Opens and closes the bar - counts floats and sales at the end of
3 U$ ? B4 T5 _" C/ {each shift, and upon closing.$ Z' C+ v4 l3 y1 p8 Q; m
M1 |0 {8 T7 u t! s4) Cleanliness of all areas, supplies and equipment, with particular
% r6 B7 e9 Z, x% P4 cattention to areas used by customers including bar counters and ; m0 J8 o0 P8 \7 f
seating, tables and chairs and surrounding floor surfaces.# X$ x" G' [3 c( f% R9 N( ?

5) Receives orders from suppliers, rotating stock as required in 7 L+ w5 l( i1 a4 L
storage areas. Restocks kegs, back-bar beer coolers and all alcohol " U8 u6 i' a8 {3 ~; F
products, serving supplies and condiments at the end of each shift.

6) Supervision of staff, with particular attention to close - W+ q" ^# }( c# [7 ?2 b
monitoring of Servers to ensure that customers consistently receive a 8 F! d0 ?. @4 n) g- t" x/ K- g
high level of customer service offered with a positive attitude in
6 q9 r* w* V7 q* j, taccordance with Students' Union policies.7 l* t- L5 g3 s0 e; U' d
