school year starts.

! c1 x) ^$ f& {/ G9 r9 s, W7 uCIBS to secure and schedule various program requirements (off-campus) e" M( L2 [4 S; C# U
venues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,
6 A0 `( |2 h; ]% M" S: {3 jetc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for
: T! v ^1 p0 \- L% C/ @7 ^participants, assisting to orient participants to the University and3 k# d" B' i' e4 y4 _/ z
their program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during8 w1 k" t3 e) b% g) |
their program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,
w7 p$ B. k# h2 X5 Jassisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking* [' ?; @9 J7 n# s/ {- D
venue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city' I( g7 Z5 W' _3 n
outings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city z8 |1 K! x% E! `% d% X/ U* }
excursions (does not involve driving or overnight week night: s/ ^, q$ [, s
excursions); interpreting (non-technical exchanges) at meetings or% ^- i( K& H4 p5 I9 N* `7 G
functions; translating, revising or drafting program-related documents3 h0 R6 ?8 d3 K9 h: L) K$ O( g
such as schedules, itineraries, notices, correspondence, PowerPoint7 | U2 U4 ^. ^4 l( N2 d# D
presentations, program binders, evaluation forms, etc.

Qualifications include: senior undergrad student; coursework in, f, R; u+ m- o% d7 J3 H8 f$ W
Commerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate
2 S9 H) L8 A; k/ kfluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,4 b* A/ i0 [: i; ?2 F/ n1 r
demonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake( N0 R9 [$ {- l
a variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those
* |& G; M |: [, {! Z Bof co-workers, excellent interpersonal organization and time-management
; W- r4 T N% qskills; accuracy to detail; working knowledge of MS applications (Word,
; d8 O: F# t+ e9 l( HExcel, PowerPoint and Outlook); administrative experience an asset,& W8 |: g; B0 o& p
experience coordinating group activities an asset.
