Hours per week will be 20 - 30 - 20 during the first few weeks, then 30+ Z( `: B9 ]5 H4 C: q0 ]
- 35 per week during the busy period. There may be an opportunity for% ?3 G" M, c* {- r: j' e
the student to stay on a casual basis (10 - 20 hours per week) once the D5 x4 L. g% Q4 Q7 T" ?

% U$ W+ v( D1 o! Q; ODuties include: preparing for programs by working with current staff at
O6 S8 r$ r( v3 r- MCIBS to secure and schedule various program requirements (off-campus
5 l7 h* F" E1 g# i% Q5 b; ]4 lvenues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,; U) g' w% A) t7 U' O' d
etc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for
* h+ E0 L6 x/ y7 Y3 Dparticipants, assisting to orient participants to the University and
+ ] w3 X/ Z- u% ~0 Ctheir program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during
4 O- M C* c# P- ^2 [. Ltheir program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,
* r m. m4 P7 A/ f+ c# Massisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking1 o! E" b4 N! K" i* q$ q
venue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city
- D) T) m2 @5 }8 x) voutings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city
4 A& _; w) W. E& B' sexcursions (does not involve driving or overnight week night
# i' ]: D+ A; V: F% s, N$ dexcursions); interpreting (non-technical exchanges) at meetings or0 f* s- I% ^8 L! o2 h/ ~8 S
functions; translating, revising or drafting program-related documents4 O/ t( s7 _6 q3 S; _5 b. C. ]
such as schedules, itineraries, notices, correspondence, PowerPoint

2 X: T! Z7 E2 w4 f0 R4 B* xQualifications include: senior undergrad student; coursework in
5 Z! d: a2 V5 ?, R/ ?* }8 c/ d& QCommerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate
" I, e8 N) f5 I7 lfluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,
9 y3 H( T1 p/ D9 U+ ademonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake: d7 e/ X" S) L8 m
a variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those% n# W8 W1 E# ~
of co-workers, excellent interpersonal organization and time-management
4 F+ E# o& \ P! k* M& k4 Kskills; accuracy to detail; working knowledge of MS applications (Word,
3 J& C: m& t3 x3 y8 \5 DExcel, PowerPoint and Outlook); administrative experience an asset,
